There are so many social media's available now a days. You may have heard or used ORKUT and Twoo. When they were started people were saying these are the best social media platform but when Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Telegram and Insta etc came into the market they rocked or you can say change the era of social media.
What do you think these are the best and last social media??? Or in some year we will have another social media ?

People never stop learning and we are never contented so I think more social media sites will be developed in the future.

I think we are depending on social media day by day.In future, we can do everything in social media.It also effects our daily life.

Yes in the future there will be a new social media but will not override the existence of facebook, twitter, instagram. Humans have started to have unexpected ideas, and they will definitely create another new social media with different features of social media that exist today.

I don't think at all that these are the best I think they are the most succesfull. Social media is peer focused. If you have a celebrity using your social media then you can expect their fans to also use that same platform.
If you have your friends on one platform then you naturally also join that platform.
If you then have celebs and other people on your platform naturally businesses will want to join your platform to sponsor, advertise and so on.

I think there will at some point be a social media shift, generations change and often when it comes to social platforms its the young generations that will set the tone and pace for where and what platform. If young people suddenly think privacy is important then they will migrate from facebook.

Businesses will just go where ever young people go because they know they can profit allot from that group of consumers.
Parents will go where the young people go because they want to be up-to-date with their young ones internet activities and possibly moniter them.

I think that when these platforms first arrived that it was very hyped and everyone's friends were doing it. But you hear it more and more that people are generally dissatisfied with facebook and their policies (from young people). Some even regret making an account in the first place. It can still take a while though because the conveinience is that everyone uses these platforms. So it will take some trendsetters to migrate.

Businesses actively track social media platforms userbase and look out for where the trend is going and what platforms are favored.

With the massive social media making many countries restrict the use of social media, this is because if too free can become a state threat, in addition to many negative side of social media such as used for illegal activities.

I think if we are proper use of social media, it's good source of bright future. Everything has positive side and negative side. There are many kinds of social media like Facebook, Twitter etc.Social media so much useful to us at the same time it's harmful to us.it can be depend on your use.if you proper use social media it's very useful to you and your future is successful.

I think ORKUT and TWOO different function, for online dating.
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp now in one roof, mean they are own by Mark Zuckenberg Company.
Three of these also has different function.
Twitter for spreading the news rapidly, like we want to know the traffice jam then we open twitter account that has information for traffic jam, if we want get updates about Music Event than we follow account about music event.
Telegram is competitor with WhatsApp, that two has same function, Telegram was created by Russian Company, I also have Telegram and WhatsApp even we know most of us still use WhatsApp, but all bounty in this forum use Telegram to get new information about ICO. But I more like Telegram than WhatsApp because Telegram can send every files mean while WhatsApp only can send music and pdf document.

My opinion, use wisely every social media.

I am really excited to see what kind of social media would sprung up nowadays as almost all innovations have been integrated to thwse platforms. Facebook still has a stranglehold on these as they are the pioneers and its easy access gives people something that other platforms cant.

I hope the future social media would future posts. Allow those positive and helpful and disallow those who will harm it's reader.  To help those in need.

I generally try to minimize their presence in social media. I just have too little free time for this. But I know some people who can't do without communicating through social media.

Obviously we haven't seen the last of it and social media is evolving. Decisions are now being swayed with the information we get from social media. Previously we had friendster and multiply. Then facebook emerged that changed the landscape of social media. There probably would be another one like facebook that will come out not long from now

Human beings are now completely dependent on social media, it is difficult to imagine if there is no social media is what kind of society

We humans adapt to what available resources there are. We never stop improving, that's just it.

decentralized social media is gaining momentum but i dont think it will completely eliminate the existing networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

if new social media come to the market they cannot effect the facebook because facebook has perfect features and majority of people have addiction of it. it is possible that other social media come into market but they cannot take place of facebook.

As more people are getting access to the internet, social medisa will be a constantly changimg platform. New services will appear, overtaking the omes we are using today, same as facebook replaced friendster and multiply.

talking about tecnology is always up to date.

I think it's a hard time now for a brand new social media to penetrate the market. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn has its own "color". The second layer : Path, Foursquare/ Swarm, G+ and many more. Ofcourse they improve to stay lasting. I have no idea about future social media platform or something. It must be very-madly hard for new comers.

I think social media will keep on improving and developing. Just like friendster that is later almost replaced by FaceBook, in the near future many developers will have new Kinds of social Media that has more feaures than Facebook and other platforms. Social Media will constantly change from time to time and there is always a new idea to replace the other.

the future of social media is very difficult to predict. in my college classroom, I once asked my teacher about this. he even predicts the future of social media will increasingly dominate the world. even social media will be equipped with additional devices that can bring the impression impression that has never been felt before.

it will lose social media functionality in the future. virtual friendships, virtual parties, entertainment concepts will rely on the social structure of classical people. people will not be satisfied from social media. the social media is emptying. it is losing its feature.

social media nowadays has the ability to control people mind and reaction about something. They can make good people bad, and make bad people look good. Because of social media fake news has been seen. So how about in the future, how much worse could be the social media could be, maybe we can elect a new president because the social media told us to, or we hate someone without knowing him or her personal character. The future social media is blockchain based. With the many hacks going on in Social media accounts, the future is in security of the media. Either the current ones shall adopt blockchain technology, Or the blockchain shall wipe them out.

Social media with artificial intelligence and virtual reality will be great technological progress.

The technology is getting better, and more affordable these days. Of course the social media giants of today could be replaced. The scope is always changing, and unless a company is willing to adapt to the needs of society,  as well as inovate, then some other will rise in its place, and get the job done.
   What social media needs is a better interface. Something more immersive than point and click. Also, a way for people to express emotion better, than just an emoji. Facebook has the Occlous Rift, and vr will be a game changer in the future. The goal would be to make it more compact and user friendly, maybe a virtual conference or play room, to meet with and interact with people online?

Never heard about ORKUT and TWOO. I think Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Telegram, Viber and Instagram are great tools to help us more in communicating with the society. And eventually, there will be another apps that will boom and be popular just like them. We can also use it for advertising, marketing to earn more and to have more great friends.

I think social media have got a bright future. More and more will be developed in future. Social media will play pivotal role in future for advertising and marketing.
