This seems like a big amount to *trust* him with given the reversible payment option.
Additional Notes: thebigtalk must resolve this dispute asap I'm not so sure whether he will if he planned on scamming you. This is why everyone will tell you not to trade a reversible currency (Paypal funds) for an irreversible currency (Bitcoin). You might have to take it as an expensive lesson to learn, it depends how much information you can find on the user and possibly file a police complaint.
