GPUDude, question: If P2Pool pays out as each block is found, and if my hashrate is relatively stable, why does it take an hour or so to stabilize payments? I get why this would be the case for PPLNS, but don't get why it would for P2Pool? I understand the variability and luck of finding blocks, but it sounds like there's more to it than that? Thanks for any clarification. It takes that to stabilise the payments. You will get paid immediately (as soon as block is found and you were contributing shares of course), when I stay stabilise I mean receive a constant payment amount for your mining providing your hash rate doesn't change. That was done with a relatively low number of shares. Today, however, I'm using the same client, withthe same wallet and the new IP and being my shares currently (and going up quickly) 253|8, I've not received any coins ... Thanks,. hi with p2pool you get paid when blocks are found. the server switch over has meant that the overall hash rate has dropped (was a steady 8MH/s+ for IFC previously) and hence blocks were being found quicker. These payments are processed automatically, again which are paid when a block is found - i have no control on the frequency of payments. your ifc address does not appear on the payout list, you have to be mining for a while. hope that helps.
