Title: Bittrex alternative?
Post by: Ctstrphy on October 17, 2017, 09:47:39 AM
With the current Bittrex banning of unverified accounts, what are the best alternatives to this exchange? I personally use Bittrex, Finex and Poloniex. I know that Volume is one of the factors to choose what exchange should someone use. I would like to hear from the community some suggestions. Thank you!

Well you already mentioned the ones with the biggests volumes it then comes down either you looking to trade the top currencies or if you looking for some untaped projects that you will only find in small to medium exchanges and hope it goes big. In this situation I personally like Livecoin, coinexchange, cryptopia and novaexchange, as I never had an issue and found some good gems in there.

Actually you can easily verify. Give him all the data required and you can withdraw the Bitcoin you have. for some alternatives other than bittrex then try novaexchange, currently the exchange is being increased its use. some promotions also make some people easily interested in using them. but my advice remains the same that is to do the verification process. it's very easy and you can still get first class service on cryptocurrency exchange.

It is very dependant on what you trade. Are you trading a wide selection of altcoins or just the main ones against USD? I use Bitfinex for the latter and I'm sticking with Bittrex for the former at the moment. So far I only needed a 'phone number to receive an SMS to verify. Using an anonymous cheap SIM card is one way to preserve some privacy. If you need higher level verification then that's a different story.

Bittrex now enforces the rules of having to verify the data themselves with ID CARD. I myself prefer cryptopia, coinexchage, hitbtc and etherdelta.

And how long will it take for those exchanges to require id verification? I think it is time for a good decentralised exchange

I tough that people who registered before a certain date don't need to verify their account? My account was registered before this supposed date but when I log in my account I am redirected directly to the verification page. Euh.
I am not going to give any piece of personal information to Bittrex. After all, there are plenty of exchanges around. No problem I will stick with Cryptopia and use it more

Bittrex ID verification is so annoying and for this I will be away to trade with this site again and rather go to cryptopia,novaexchange,c-cex and livecoin since I don't want to gamble my I'ds online and gamble with it just for the sake of the trades. And I want to stay anonymous and its better to became like this for safety reasons.

i can only think of Cryptopia and C-cex although c-cex has a lot of issues that makes me want to stay away from it, they go down so often these days and they have a lot of angry users.

i see there is mention of poloniex and novaexchange and bitfinex, are you sure all these 3 don't ask for verification also like bittrex?
