Title: What is Bitcoin Core ?
Post by: jackhero on October 17, 2017, 02:43:23 PM
What is Bitcoin Core?
Bitcoin Core is a third version of Bitcoin and also the most well-known version, Bitcoin Core was developed by Wladimir J. van der Laan from the original Bitcoin version. Previously, Bitcoin Core had another name, Bitcoin-Qt. Since the release of Bitcoin Core v0.5 (Bitcoin Deamon) - the command interface for Bitcoin, it is integrated to help interconnect transactions and update Blockchain.
Currently, there are four versions of Bitcoin, but the most popular are Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Classic. It is because of the competition of these two versions that the Bitcoin community is increasingly divided.
In addition, Bitcoin Core is often criticized because Blockchain downloads are too slow. However, losing this one is another, Bitcoin core is still used a lot because the block size for each transaction is only 1MB. The Bitcoin Core community wants to maintain the size of 1MB, but Bitcoin Classic wants to upgrade and expand to 2MB.

Im addition with what you are stated above, Bitcoin core is the source code that is transparent and it found in GutHub and it's free to use. Some Altcoins were created from Bitcoin's core and everyone can make his own crypto currency.

Depends what is considered to be version of Bitcoin. There are many forks (Bitcoin Classic is a fork) so I don't really see why there would be only four "major" versions of Bitcoin. There are much more.

Bitcoin core is the interface used for connecting the business , more like a reference client that helps in interaction between parties.
Bitcoin core  was first callet bitcoin QT then even before that it was called bitcoin^ they renamed it after the new features that were added in the previous versions
It facilates out transactions from one server to another, but its not like a wallet supporting buying and selling.
It was developed by Satoshi Nakamoto itself then further improved by Waldimar in 2016.
Its more like the skeleton of bitcoins.

Bitcoin core is a software published by Satoshi Nakamoto unser the name of Bitcoin,
is programmed to decide which block chain contains valid transactions. The users of Bitcoin Core only accept transactions for that block chain, making it the Bitcoin block chain that everyone else wants to use.

Bitcoin core was named Bitcoin-Qt before. It was released to the public the moment he released the white paper of bitcoin. It was said to be the open software source made by non other than Satoshi Nakamoto. It's a free to download system. When you open the application, it would shot the ledger that lists every transaction made by bitcoin. Compared to Coinbase and any other bitcoin wallet, the only capacity of Bitcoin Core is to be able to send and receive bitcoins. On the other hand, coinbase and bitcoin wallet has the capacity to do buy and sell, link a bank account and has a downloadable application on the phone.
