Dear friends,

Can you please suggest one coin for investment under $0.05 that may have some long term success. My plan is to buy some coins in large quantity such 50000. So that if the coin at least hit $1 in long term there will be great profit. 

I did some research and invested in VERGE  but not sure if it was correct decision or not.  So, I am looking for you expert opinion.

The only coin I own under $0.05 is FunFair.  It's a platform to develop gambling sites.  No particular reason why I can justify owning it, like you, I just wanted to take a swing at something where I buy a lot of it, and hope it explodes, and it seemed to fit the bill.

My next two lowest cost tokens are BAT and 0x ... both under $0.20.  I'm losing faith in BAT but I think 0x could be big.

Everyone will give their opinion bro. You can directly check in coinmarketcap list which coin's supply is increasing better than before and go that altcoin to invest. There are around 100 coins in the list and every coin is the has the detailed for circulating supply, change, price graph, market cap and so on. Check the link below.

you can choose the doge coins is so look profitable for long term, and many people believe in doge coins can bright in the future

I would suggest looking into Oceanlab. 100mil suplly and with PoS4all great potential to grow!

You should buy Cindicator CND token. It is just getting out to exchanges. It costs 0.02$ and has HUGE potential. Just check out their project!

I would suggest investing in Electroneum, 10% bonus round is going on and buy them when you can as it will be a hit project. Already raised more than 25 million $ in BTC and ETH.

For under .05 I can heartily recommend Gridcoin. It's got a great idea behind it,
very active devs, and could really go alot higher than it currently is, if they
can manage to take care of some of the problems they are having currently.

I hold a bit myself, it's strange to me the price is currently so low.

Stellar (XLM) is currently $.043 and on the rise. They just partnered with IBM, you should check it out soon.

Rather than suggest a coin, I'm going to offer up some sound investment advice.

The percent increase is way more important that the actual price.

At first, some people won't put much money in BTC because they see that it is expensive.
It is natural to first think, "Well, I can put my money in a cheaper coin and get more!"

If you invest 100 dollars in a coin, Coin A costs $1000, Coin B costs .01 cents.
It will seem more impressive to get 10000 of Coin B instead of 10 of Coin A.

But here's the thing, BTC (which is like Coin A) has consistently shown increases.  Every couple months the price crashes but it always goes up.  At the beginning of 2017 it wasn't even at $1000 dollars and its at $5600 now.  BTC has stood the test of time, it is the nearest to mass adoption, it is the most well known.  It will go up even higher next year.  The insane percent gains and returns you hear about is bitcoin.

For the cheaper alts (which are like Coin B), how many have shown 1000% increases? How many more will? Throwing your money at a project because its cheap and might blow up like btc is like randomly digging in places in hopes of finding an undiscovered gold mine.

I currently have two coins i'm holding for the long term under $0.05 that I would recommend.

FunFair (FUN): Looks like a solid project with a good idea and good team behind it, was recently added to Binance and will be burning off more of the tokens total supply tomorrow.
Current Price: $0.027146

TrezarCoin (TZC): New coin with some good features and every PoS block has a value of 100 TZC so would be good for staking if you bought a large amount.
Current Price: $0.012213

I think better to check coinmarketcap just the same what they recommended to you above.. and what i seen right now if what coins are moving and increase is XML that already mention above and denta coin and kin are also getting increase the percentage base in coinmarketcap but you should need to check one by one roadmap and back ground of the coin if its worth it to hold or to trade daily..
For me i suggest you to invest in top rankings if you care about your investment because it will be hard to analyze which coin  would be great to hold them for a long time or for short time..  if you in top altcoin those are always getting good movement or in bitcoin ..

My advice is SAFEX. It costs around 0.01$ now. It is crypto marketplace project with wonderful concept and devs. I suppose they are able to reach 1$ in 1-2 years for sure.

And some more advice Round 2:

Despite what many people think, you can make very informed, accurate predictions about coins if done right and combined with a lot of research (asking people to say what coin is good doesn't count).

Here are some basics:

Market Cap and available amount of coins - this is the value of the company and how much "supply" they have.  This helps you decide which companies are set to grow and which ones have already ballooned or are stagnating.


Roadmaps, Developments, Releases etc - If the company has a major milestone coming up, like the release of an app on apple store, or a business partnership forming or even a release on a major exchange.  The price of the coin will typically go up.  Companies that have had steady development releases and are meeting their goals will most likely do so in the future and you can expect steady gains and even predict when the price will spike up.


The legitimacy of the company, team, and community - All legitimate projects will have a means of communicating with the team (slack, github, telegram, etc.) You can get a direct sense on how reliable the entire company is by joining the community and being active.  This will guide your decisions about a coin for the long term.

Well, there's a lot more (like the tech behind the coin/platform, the growth history of the coin itself, etc.) but start with these and you will start to get a sense on what projects are worth investing in.

I think Electroneum is a great coin to invest in currently. There is a lot of hype going around this coin recently and I seriously believe in the coin and what it is trying to achieve. Mobile mining for the win.

I think you bought this coin in vain. Verge already has a great deal of capitalization. It is necessary to pay attention to coins with low capitalization

Fully agree, the coin may cost a few dollars, but if it has a small amount of coins and little capitalization, then there is a great potential for growth.

I bought some FunFair. Probably it is the most assured coin for this price. I propose you to buy max 1000 coins and wait for grow up price.

I would like to suggest you to buy and hold SIACOIN. It is the first coin based upon the platform of decentralized cloud storage with help of blockchain technology. It is a very popular coin among long term holders and investors as the project has alot of potential.
It's current price is around 0.004$ but you can expect it's price to be around 0 1$ within 10 years or so. It's a coin worth buying and holding.

My personal believe is that ECASH is going to be very big in the future. Their wallet software looks great and fast as they are utilising the ETH network which makes it cheap as well. This will be worth alot in the future.

Lumens are pretty good right now, maybe it will be big. who knows, you can try

Digibyte is under $0.05 and you can make a lot of money by holding it long term. This coin has really very stronge community, tech, and history

Any amount is not bad for starters. Even if you get $ 0.2 then expect progress. With perseverance and patience you will achieve more in the future. You always have to start with something.

May be you should split your investment in 2 ou more coins, less risky.

And why are such cheap coins? It is inevitable to pay attention to the capitalization and the idea of a coin rather than the price per coin

BAT may seems considerable, however I would suggest even something like Status (SNT), as it's cheap enough ($0.02), that the tiniest change in price can give a lot of profit. Let's say it gets only to a small $0.5 and it's 25x your initial investment, yet the price would be still low. I think that can be an interesting approach and a brave bet.

I must say, you follow the original investment strategy :D I think a suitable coin may be cindicator (CND) or doge (why not?)

Universa coin for $0.01. But I would not recommend to buy it for trading. As the developers promise the price of coin will rise so it's definitely woryh waiting. Fits for you if you are really prepared for  long term investments

Maybe funfair is good investment, but I would suggest diverse your portfolio to at least two so you don't get burned by one sudden drop of a coin. Also the price is not the only factor, do take a look of the total supply of the coin and check what will be the market cap if the coin achieves a 10x or 20x, where will the coin be positioned on the coinmarkcap list then, does its market and usage justify such a position? You will find one that you are comfortable with.

I will suggest you Unify. I know it's on my campaign but they actually look good. Check their website and roadmap and see it for yourself.
They are not under 0.05, but they are not that distant (8cent last time I checked). But like I said, check their roadmap, it's quite simple and achievable in my opinion, and they are really investing in spreading the word on crypto, so they will aim for awareness, which is quite important because that is what crypto is needing. For the "common" people, to know what this is. We don't want just traders, investors and tech experts. We want crypto to be used by everyone on normal daily use. They are also investing heavily on exchange listing, so their price should go up.

I suggest Stellar XLM aswell. Looks promising with a company like IBM adopting it.

try electronium or ats.... both unique projects of their kind.... just need the devs to deliver perfectly the promised platforms and results and the tokens worth to moon..... ;D ;D ;D

 i would also prefer pluscoin..... most underestimated coin in the present.... already has a working platform and a huge community backers.... try it once.. it wont dissapoint you :D :D

Anyhow for others, $0.05 is kind of hard to find due to the btc price pump.

Coins that are around 1k satoshi range is good to look at

DNT: 600 Satoshi
Coss: 2k satoshi

Though it is a tad higher than $0.05, but I would recommend digibyte. I think its a strong, reliable long term investment. And definitely has the potential to bring X10 or even more profit.

For an alt of that worth, I don't think that you will be able make huge profits even if its after years of holding, the coins of that worth have very high chances of dropping to zero. Since a lot altcoins which are worth less $0.05 have a large number of the circulating supply.

However, if thats the chance you are willing to take, I would recommend that you invest in dogecoin, I am not sure if it will ever reach $1 but one thing for sure, its a good coin with a great community and its been around for quite some time.

I suggest Senderon coin (SDRN). You can see the potential of this project, it is freecoin but it is being of interest. Prices on cryptopia continue to rise.

Okcash is a good bet. It grew well today. A lot of them are good bets and aren't at this point, but less are probably sure things.

I'm not really big on ICO or penny coins. But I've been following Stellar lately and must I'm impressed thus far.

I could suggest it is the right time to invest on altcoins because of bitcoin fork people are withdrawing their altcoin and investing in bitcoin for getting free coins on oct25 and nov mid fork. Some are withdrawing to fiat . Once bitcoin price drops less than 5 k there will be lots of altcoin will go upper . So try to analyse some coins which lost value because of  hardfork even though it’s having high potentiality in coinmarketcap . Don’t go with any one suggestion.

Decentraland (MANA) has serious potential. It's around 0.01 USD but in December there will be a a great deal of MANA burnt due to the virtual land auction and I expect a value increase at that time. It's down from the ICO price so there's already some value added at 0.01 USD. Do your own research though; don't go investing your money without a deep dive into the project, due diligence.
