Bitcoin will be used for big purchases in the future... cars + houses

Bitcoin cash will be used for small transactions.... coffee, smokes, dinner etc

Until we have internet connection bitcoin users can dream! Obviously internet connection will exist unless there is a war or a big catastrophic natural disaster!
I think we will be able to buy everything with BTC, or even BCH, it's just a difference in their quantity that might affect in the end! And I guess this coins shouldn't get discrimined, they will be used for everything if they survive in the market, maybe will not be to much used!

Nope, stop shilling for bitcoin cash, there is no need to pay for coffee and food with cryptocurrencies, Maybe for some people but they can use bitcoin credit cards to pay for them in less than 3 seconds.

These two type of crypto is different, bitcoin is used to buy large amount of transactions while bitcoincash is used for small transactions yet they share the same aspects in term of exchange.

I wish Coinbase was going to do Bitcoin cash.  I don't think it will really take off until big companies like Coinbase start using it.  If that happens then lookout, it could be Bitcoin v2.0.

That may be true for US citizens but in the rest if the world, bitcoin cash is available in large exchanges. In my country, BCH has been available in one if our largest exchanges from day 1.

I use Exodus desktop wallet, bitcoin.com  and coinomi mobile wallets.

please use your brain before writing something like this. why would anyone use Bitcoin Cash for small transactions when there are so many other altcoins with much better features, so much lower fee, faster transactions and lots more! even Dogecoin would be better than BCH for that matter!

i won't say that bitcoin cash will be use for transactions even for small transaction. maybe its only for bitcoin and we need to wait to see bitcoin is used for many transaction, offline and online. but soon, bitcoin will be used in every where, so be patience  ;)



yes i prefer to use dogecoin which have lower fee and faster transactions like you said. the other option maybe we can use digibyte and this coins its like dogecoin too. there are too many altcoin which will be good option than bitcoin cash.

Well, am sure that people behind BitcoinCash (BCH) might disagree with your projection or rather prediction about the future uses for both coins. But then again, who can argue with you. Frankly speaking, we are all banking on Bitcoin to soon be a part of the mainstream culture and be use by billions of people globally not just a store of value (like the physical gold) but more so as a currency where people will use it for selling and buying. This is the kind of scenario we are all hoping for...one day truly replacing the fiat money in many transactions (though not necessarily killing the printed money in the same way that credit/debit cards did not really kill it).

Bitcoin cash will be forgotten in near future, it might only be used in few online/offline stores but it can't take over bitcoin. When lightening network will be activated bitcoin will be cheap and fast enough to be used in purchase of coffee, smokes and drinks etc.

Not just car and house, Bitcoin indeed seems in the future more using by many people for the purchase of goods / something needed in everyday life and more companies, shops, restaurants, etc. will receive Bitcoin payments.
But on BitcoinCash, I don't think it will like as a bitcoin that can buy something that is needed in everyday life because BitcoinCash is only part of Altcoins I guess.

BCH will be used for nothing. Boo Bitcoin cash. Everyone knows Bitcoin is the best. People see other people type about it being bulky, slow, and blah blah blah. The reason why Bitcoin may be slower is because it has huge volume. I'm not saying it is faster than some coins like Litecoin, but it is number one for a reason. One of those reasons is that it is actually used to buy things. Name one place where people can spend BCH? You can't. (Okay, maybe you can, but you probably googled for it... yeah?... come on admit it.  :D)

In the future BCH will be a token. For like, fun... err... yeah.

Doge was just an extreme example though. there are lots of better altcoins out there with better technology and better features. i like ByteBall for example. it is fast, easy to use, low fee, uses DAG and it also has anonymous transactions with the blackbytes!
or if you want something like bitcoin the choice is ALWAYS litecoin (LTC)! it is faster, cheaper and it also has SegWit, LN, and will soon have confidential transactions (which is anonymous transactions).

Buddy, I agree with you. Because it has become impossible to buy small things with bitcoin by giving such a hugh transaction fees. Just imagine if someone wants to buy a thing for 15 dollars, he end up giving nearly 18 dollars including the transaction fees to buy it. So its not feasible to buy things which are of small value. Instead of bitcoin, off course we can use bitcoin cash to buy things of less value because of its less transaction fees.

I really don't know if this idea is good. I am thinking of some conflict about this. What if we all use BTC in all transactions whether it is small or big purchases.

Bitcoin Cash is only used for Bitmain dealings and it is the only reasoning for its price. Actually there are already tons of altcoins supported micro-transactions with good performance. You may look for example to BitShares or whatever.

Looks at BCash specs, it is the same Bitcoin Core with 8x increased block. If BTC network enough to have around 20transactions/sec, then Bitcoin Cash - around 160tx/s. It is so far from VISA that currently supports up to 400000tx/s, and real worldwide needing is around 40000tx/s. The BCash have no chance for it now. Speaking about future, Core team is lots stronger than Cash, so if sometimes Bitcoin will provide that speed, then definitely it will be Core one.

I don't understand how people suffer this. For me, Bitcoin has only cost $1 for a very large transaction at most. It may be the middle man service that some of you are using. Eventually Bitcoin transactions will be pretty much pennies if not free.

The idea of using bitcoin cash for small transaction can be implemented but the businesses owners will think of other alternative methods for using digital coin as a form of payment for their services and products, not just bitcoin cash, there are hundreds of altcoins out there in the marketcap that will be more beneficial than using a bitcoin cash, but i'm agreed for using bitcoin to pay big transactions as it has the highest value.

I think here it seems the truth because here i found that most of the people are using bitcoin only for the medium of the transaction of bulk amount of the money but here if we can see that for the small transaction they are using bitcoin or not then we can say , no because here every small transaction needed 1$ ( minimum , depends upon the  a input  a and  output of the transaction )forer speed of the confirmation  .
So here people who want make small small transaction will move toward the bitcoin cash Because it will charge very low amount of the fee and also it's speed of confirmation is also better then what the speed of the bitcoin have .
Hope soon we will get another option for the small transaction with new coin like bitcoin gold .

I think Bitcoin Cash was brought in quickly to fill a gap, before SegWit + Lightning Network can be fully implemented. They wanted to capitalize on the need, before the permanent scaling solution for Bitcoin was in place. Once the Lightning Network is in place, people will go back to Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash will only be supported by it's fans. ^smile^

although there will be a war or natural disaster that causes the internet connection to be lost, we do not have to worry because the bitcoin we have will not disappear, because someday everything will be restored and access to bitcoin that we have will be maintained, but the problem that will arise is bitcoin prices are sure to drop dramatically, as their use will be limited

Bitcoin cash is the clone of bitcoin and blockchain technology with increased block size, bitcoin cash is created by miners and developers of bitcoin those who had owned bitcoins during the hardfork has earned equal amount of bitcoin cash, user's are buying bitcoin cash with the thought that the value of bitcoin cash increases in the future. Both bitcoin and bitcoin cash has 16.5 million units in circulation, bitcoin cash is easier to mine which means the miners of bitcoin cash will be able to make double on bitcoin cash than bitcoin. compared to bitcoins the transaction fees is much lower for bitcoin cash.

I see no much difference between these two or any of the alts available out there. The whole thing runs in the same blockchain. So I don't think there is way to make them apart. It will be all about the people's choice what they want to use. Also, it's not about the price too., where bitcoin would be couple of thousand dollars worth and cash would be couple of hundred but it's not about the price for sure. There will be lot more ways to spend it. The time will come and define the fate.

yes maybe in the future will happen. the current crypto innovation has spread and has become immense. many developers are bringing new ideas and methods. according to the positive things we can get is a future effect that you say.

Bitcoin is supposed to be used in large transactions because sending fee are more expensive. But I think not only BCH is worthy to use in small transactions because many other altcoins are still usable. If you only use BCH it's an option, but others don't have to do it. They have a more option than BCH, there is ETH, LTC, ETC, and Dash. I think BCH at this time still not safe yet for use to buy a products/goods, because many people still don't trust this coin and they just trade it.

Even do not need to worry about the users of bitcoin, because with the passage of time the users of bitcoin are increasing and we can expect that even if there is nature desater or anything else people will feel the need to use bitcoin. Bitcoin normal transactions will be used for big purchases.
Bitcoin's SegWit will be used for small fast transactions.
Bitcoin cash will be used only by a few people that don't want to face the reality. And it'll be fewer and fewer...

Instant and very cheap/almost free transaction is possible in original bitcoin chain in near future so why should we have to rely on bitcoin cash for micro transactions.

I am also puzzled by this. Every week nother new coin or announcement, what's the point. The vast amount of businesses don't even recognize bitcoin. Also there is litecoin for smaller, fast transactions. I don't see the point of all these forks, in the end very few survive and every fork weakens the original, to what good?

Bitcoin cash was a product of a fork, it is an inevitable product of bitcoin's transaction that was left on the blockchain, and this coming October 25th BTG will be released again. Originally these coins already exist but with no value people are just putting value on it. If it will have less users then it will never have a value.

Litesoin is considered an Altcoin means it was created by a group of developers with a particular purpose.

From an objective perspective these seem like two completely different currencies trying to serve two distinct purposes. It seems to me that while Bitcoin was created as a cryptocurrency meant to store value and transact with it, Bitcoin Cash is more oriented towards microtransactions without having long term viability too much in mind. I do not know the full specifics on this, but I feel like the only reason it was even started as a fork from the regular Bitcoin blockchain was so that it could gain popularity from the name and from being considered the "new" Bitcoin. While I do see the place for both of these, I would not be surprised if another cryptocurrency already existed that is better than Bitcoin Cash. I simply do not follow alt coins much.

I think Bitcoin (BTC) is enough to handle any crypto payments, so why do we need Bitcoin Cash? Whats the point of using it? I prefer LTC & DASH, over Bitcoin Cash. LTC and Dash has more stable coin price, not centralized ,with true real miners.

well bitcoin is can do all of that stuff there is no need to use bitcoin cash it is just exact copy of bitcoin with 8mb blocks please stop making these shills it is very annoying. it is better to use a lite coin and ethereum if you are doing day-day transactions than bch. bitcoin cash is a complete failure made by some businessman who wants to make a fail coin.

I really agree with what you say, maybe just with BTC it's all clear enough for payment, because with BTC payment everything can be run, no need with BCH, because BCH really make things more difficult in the future.

Exactly why wouldn't I just use ETH, which has much less fess and faster confirmation time. BCH is just another alternative for it, nothing special about it IMO.

Bitcoin Cash is only staying alive because of the EDA.  It is hanging on to dear life because of the EDA plus there are some miners that are mining at at a loss.  When the miners jump off the chain, there it sometimes takes like 40 minutes for a block, so it effectively becomes much slower than Bitcoin.  

If there is another fork and there are 3 Bitcoin chains with 2 of them being more profitable, then BCH will die.  I don't see that scenario though, there are quite a few BCH fanatics so the coin should have higher value than SW2X which I don't think will have buyers unless exchanges trick people into buying them as Bitcoin.  

That being said they need to fix the EDA in BCH  because it's causing high inflation.  But if they fix the EDA, what miner is going to mine on this chain long term when it's not profitable?

Even assuming the above problems all work out for BCH, another major problem is it has no competent developers.  Bitcoin will be moving forward with Segwit adoption, Lightening Network, possible Mast, etc.  BCH innovation is going to be keep on increasing block size?  ;D

No idea where the other hardforks are going to be but i suspect that each subsequent contentious bitcoin hardfork will be valued less and less until they become irellevant as a competitor to the parent.

If there comes a time when i as a stakeholder in bitcoin am compelled to support a hard fork i will seriously consider just opting out as a sensible alternative.

As for bitcoin cash being used for small transactions and stuff, wel i would like to see litecoin be able to fill that role. u know whenever bitcoin cash falls under the market cap of litecoin then i reckon litecoin will take off


As for the eda, i think i heard about some rumor on bitcon cash undergoing a noncontentious hardfork to remove the eda. and they might couple that with an artificial fomo inducing pump thing but they already tried that a couple times and there is also b2x coming and those will compete for the same hashpower. losing the eda will probably lead to bitcoin cash ultimate demise.

Yup! why would bother using a coin that have not much worth than ETH, I think I just need BTC all around the transaction process that I make, and I think Even ETH is converted back to BTC so they can make a transaction over all on different merchants available to use bitcoin.

If both bitcoin and bitcoin cash will still be alive in the future (where I believe bitcoin can), then why not? In terms of where to use your coins for your transactions, I suppose it all depends on you and on the amount that you have. Each of us has our own personal preference of what to do and where to put our coins at.

lol, I agree with you. With the prediction Bitcoin price will be $21,000 in the future, we will use it to buy big things. And with bitcoin cash, we also use it like daily payment cash.  :D

Well from here the layman must learn and understand about Bitcoin, because someday they will experience this, shopping with anything must use Bitcoin, if they do not know and do not want to know Bitcoin they will be difficult and will not understand until whenever.

Both can be used for the same purpose and it's just a matter of choice. For example, what if the house owner / real property company announces it's acceptance of bitcoin / bitcoin cash then we can just simply use them for good.

But to be realistic, bitcoin can be used for any type of transaction -- small, medium or big ones. I'm not for bitcoin cash but bitmain has announced it's support to that coin.

And if I'm not mistaken transactions to them are big because they are the most popular manufacturer of mining equipment.

Bitcoin cant substitute regular payment system with this volatile prices.Payment providers are looking for low volatile,stable coins.If we talk about price predictions,imo bitcoin price will be more than 10000$ at the end of this year ;)

Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are two forks for blockchain. Bitcoin is the original cryptocurrency that we are using for last 8 years while bitcoin cash is hard fork which is a closer source to sotoshi’s original version. Bitcoin cash was introduced for bitcoin safety because there was a fear exist that SegWit is attacking on bitcon which might be harmful for the decentralization feature of bitcoin.

I would like to share an information here about bitcoin cash that bitcoin cash allows custom block sizing. Through Adjustable Blocksize Cap users can settle their blocksize from 2mb to 16mb as per their requirement.

It is better to have only one coin that we use for all transactions and obviously that is Bitcoin. Yeah, bitcoin cant be used right now for small transactions like a coffe, local shop or anything like that because the fees are big and it takes some time to confirm the transaction. But I am sure in the future this problem is going to be fixed and we will be able to use it anywhere

In the future, a lot of big and small purchases can be done by Bitcoin. For the purchase of clutches, building, shopping, tea, biscuits etc.

BTC is real Gold! BCH is other way with lower price! So can used it to buy some think as: coffee, smokes and other like that!

so far bitcoin is used for all those things and it will only grow more and more in the future.
on the other hand bitcoin cash is and will be used only as a pump and dump altcoin and something that miners use when they want to abuse the Emergency Difficulty Adjustment to make some big profit in a day. nothing more.

It seems that OP is a supporter of bitcoin cash.Even though bitcoin cash has failed to replace bitcoin,still he wants to show that it would be equally used with bitcoin.

BCH has no unique features to deliver and so there is no need for any one to risk their investments by buying and using BCH for smaller payments when there is already well established altcoins which offer quick transactions at very low fee.

Bitcoins were intrigued to the world as a cryptocurrency and now Bitcoins is utilized by the entire world and now the bitcoins has vanished the genuine money of the nations and it appear that in highlight the bitcoins will be presented as a cash for entire world there for bitcoins likewise present its money named as bitcoin money since it will be an imperative part of the world so I'm in the support of the bitcoins money.
