Title: [Question] Need help new to crypto mining Post by: DL1MP1K on October 18, 2017, 12:02:20 PM Hello everyone !
I am new to mining. I was observing some crypto currencies and as for now I think I should mine moneros. I don't want to use my laptop for mining, as it has low hash rate 50 H/s. I want to assemble miner (I don't know how), buy some cheap & good peformance cpu/gpu , install mining software and start mining. But the problem is I don't know steps, which hardware to buy and how to assemble it. I currently want to mine 500H/s so I want to ask: 1)Which hardware is cheapest to achieve 500 H/s for monero? 2) After I buy the hardware (let's say AMD FX8350) what to do with it? where should I put it, how should I configure it? As I guess I should buy another hardware to make the cpu/gpu work. Ask there. This area is Bitcoin only, and no CPU/GPU will do.

If you really want help, there are plenty of guides out there, but you basically buy an ASIC miner and point it to a pool. Then you basically just let it go on autopilot.
