Title: no 0.8.2 branch in git?
Post by: tiktoc on June 07, 2013, 09:00:05 PM
Is there a reason why there is no 0.8.2 branch in the bitcoin git? Or is master used till the first release if 0.8.3?

stable releases are "tagged"

The master branch is regularly built and tested, but is not guaranteed to be completely stable. Tags are created regularly to indicate new official, stable release versions of Bitcoin.
