Hey guys, my account ruru https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=156813 got hacked.I believe some turkish guy is controlling it right now. Unfortunately I can't sign messages from my old account, but I do control the youtube channel associated with it. I've heard theymos takes so long to get back to people so would a mod please ban the account for now? I still have pms from my original email associated with ruru account.. not sure if it will help my case.

are you use the security question ? it's help for lock your account.
The only mod accept is sign message, if you can't sign message from old staked address maybe you can't get it back. let's see the other people will say

Can't they just lock the account if they have reasonable proof it has been hacked? I thought i read something about it, and that it didn't need a signed message, but rather something that could just proof you've been associated with the account. Hilariousandco locks them pretty often i think

For recovering, yea, you're fucked. There's no way to get back in without a signed message..

I think you have disclosed your account information to a hacker or you have accessed a phishing site through your account, which led to your account being lost. I would recommend breaking any links from other accounts to your current account, which could lead to many other consequences.

I sent a pm to Theymos, but no response. Could I have the account locked at least? I sent a pretty damning proof that I'm the real ruru by signing something else, just it's not crypto. I can't stand how there's someone out there impersonating to be me. :(

So many news of stolen

Kinda sucks that I'm not even getting a reply from the mods but I proved my identity to dooglus and BayAreaCoins to post negative rep on my account. Hopefully, no one gets scammed posing as me.
