Then, when you receive money at one of those addresses, you know who it came from, since you didn't give that address to anyone else. Though it's still possible that they got a friend to pay you on their behalf, or something like that. You don't know. You don't need to know. If you think you need to know, you're probably doing something horribly wrong.
