Title: Coinparator.com - New website (crypto portfolio)
Post by: howard.ashoul on October 19, 2017, 12:06:15 AM
Since we are heavily involved in crypto, me and a guy I know decided to write our own crypto portfolio.

  • http://www.coinparator.com/ (http://www.coinparator.com/)

Our main reasson was, that we couldn't find anything, that would fit our demands:

  • accesible at any device in browser (not an app)
  • fully anonymous (not linked to email, IP or device)
  • was primary showing value of portfolio, rather than current rates
  • easy to use

There are NO ADS and it's FREE (it was developed for our own use, not for profit).

Feel free to use it, if it fits your demands too. And feel free to report us any bugs (that would be very appreciated).

Yes, at first all owned coins has to be added manualy one by one.

Don't see it as a problem. Is that a problem?

It's available only in a browser.

And that's the point - that you can acces it on any device - Android, iOS, Linux, Windows...you are not limited by one specific app (eg. available only through Android app). If your pc/phone/tablet has a browser, you have a full access.

Mobile application better than browser. You can release Android IOS apps.

I could create Android & iOS app by using webview. It would take like a 1 hour. (it would be basically application, that would be downloading and displaying content of website). But it would be an app.

But with webview there is not the main advantage of an app - You still have to download all images & styles of webpage. While real app is donwloading only pure content, because it already has all the images & styles ready. And creating full app would take like 1 month.

Can't blame me currently for not releasing app. Webview is kind of pointless. And developing full app at this point (2 days old website with minimum active users) is a little over kill.

Tried this site. I have two possible suggestions.
List the coins in the drop down menu in alphabetical orfer
List ether tokens.
Good site and have on favourites.

Thank you!

1) Coins are now sorted in alphabetical order. They were sorted by daily volume (higher volume = more popular). But alphabetical order makes more sense.

2) New coins (including ether tokens & ICO tokens) will be added in a near future.

Another excellent crypto currency portfolio management site. No ads, free and simple to use. I have just started to invest in cryptocurrencies and I will surely find this site to be useful for me.

Thanks!

Actually there is a small Ad banner. But this is one and only ad position. No more ads, no more banners. Not now. Not in the future. Just this one.

Two new charts are now generated for every portfolio. Basically graphic representation of buy/current price and gain/lose in %.

It should help user get quick idea how are his coins standing without studying numbers.

Been using your website for some time now and I do see some issues like the BUY column, what does that really imply? The totals are all off on the buy portion. Are there any new developments with this website? Good really to create your own portfolio also print option can be added.

Hey guys I would like to ask if for the past few weeks we have any developments as far as the website is concerned? I am still positive that this would be a good portfolio site and good luck to your endeavors.

I am saddened to see that there are no updates whatsoever on this great website. I have tried to utilize it but so far I have more questions than answers that requires me to get back to this thread only to find out I am not seeing anything positive about it. Not really positive but no news at all. If you can read this please let me know what is going on with the said project. It is a good website that you are planning and a good one that can be utilized by everybody who is into crypto.
