Top strategist Tom Lee says Bitcoin is going to 25,000.00 in five years. Well looking at this year you would say why not. The bullishness is there and to me the people like it. The Cryptocurrency is here to stay and it will become a major part in finance around the world.

Can not wait to see whet happens in Five.......

I will be sad when that happens, the fee of each transaction will be very big.

I must say that those are just speculations which have a possibility of being real and of being a failure. I have to agree that the value of bitcoin has been increasing more than any other cryptocurrency and will continue increasing.

However, I just feel like $25 000 within a period of five years is too much, don't forget that the market is so volatile, the value don't just always go up but sometimes dumps.

Agreed, that's all quite concerning when you think that if the fees would have been anything close they are today in Bitcoin's beginnings, maybe this forum wouldn't have even existed cause no one would have cared about Bitcoin as a currency. I remember how, for so many years Bitcoin community was proudly displaying the cheap fees compared to say, Western Union fees for cash transactions.

There will be new solutions for transaction fees if this really starts happening.

The actual required fees may be lowered again for instance reducing the cost.

I guess it will not take so long. We will see this price under 2 years. And more will come in 5 years. Too many new comers investing in bitcoin and after 2019 halving we will see x2 for sure.

The transaction will cost less than 1$) soon BTC will implement technology Lightning Network.

It might take 10 years or more for that to happen. Regardless of the investors the market is unstable or it could be the other way around, bitcoin might go down and worth nothing at all.

Yes it is possible and even more than $25k is possible in next five years. Price of bitcoin is still low if we look at how much more new investors can invest into it in next few years. Bitcoin craze is quite high in almost every part of the world and demand for bitcoin is surging even in poor countries because people from those countries are fade up of high inflation rate they have every year.

I am afraid that I cannot agree with that. It's obvious that there are several bubbles around in cryptocurrencies market, so that is exactly why Bitcoin will fail to reach 25.000 American USD. Those cryptocurrencies, which will go down will ruin the trust for other alternative cryptocurrencies and that is exactly why people will turn back to Bitcoin for simple transactions and that's why the price will fail to reach 25.000 US dollars otherwise Bitcoin would loose new users and new transactions, while any fiat or cryptocurrency lives as long as there are people using it on day to day bases. So lack of worthy ICO's will prevent BTC from leveling off at 25.000 bucks. Though I might be wrong and you might be right- let's see what happens

Of course it is possible next five years Bitcoin cross $25000 i believe because bitcoin is very highly growth coin.In this year btc will be hit 6000$ still now 5600$ that's why at future btc easily reach 25000$

It's great to see expert predict about bitcoin future , IMO $ 25.000/ btc it's too good to be true
Whenever some people also made a high expectation for bitcoin so I keep my faith on bitcoin and keep hold as long as possible.

25.000 USD is a quite reasonable prediction for next five years. Many people believe that it is going to hit around 7k USD at the end of this year. So it is going to mean that bitcoin price raised x10 just in 1 year. It is a huge jump. So 25k usd for 5 year is very reasonable.

Will be nice if it rises to 25k. But i doubt that is the case. lol

For that we have to wait for 5 years, it can be 15K-25K, let's see... ;D

it can be just speculations, can be real, but if we take a closer look on past last year this 25.000 is not so far

I think transaction fees will not a problem because there will be solution for that.thay can make new updates and some forks idk.also 25.000.000 usd per bitcoin is enough for miners:D when bitcon be a 25.000.000 usd how you thinkin transactin fees :D

Hmmmmm... :D. It sounds like a fairy tale, but i'm open to the possibility ;D. Lets just hope that it doesnt get to $24,999 and ends up crashing to $0.01 thou :P

I think 15,000 is a more realistic ath in 5 years, but based on this year, 25,000 isn't out of the realm of possibilities.

I'm trully believe that this will happen. Ofc it's a speculation but now we have main resistance/support level between 20000$ and 30000$  ;D

wow it's a very high number but there is no word for pessimistic because it can happen just as when bitcoin is still at a price of about $ 10, not many people think it would be like this but it can happen until now

Which the trend this year, its more than possible

John McAfee even said that bitcoin will be $500,000 in three years but $25,000 for five years is even more realistic but who knows as the number of bitcoin users are increasing yearly. And this means that the demand for this year will be doubled next year and that can lead bitcoin to pump some more. I believe that bitcoin will play an important role in the financing industry and that will make the price even higher.

This is likely to happen because the Bitcoin price has now reached $ 5800 and in the future if this market continues to thrive and more potential investors enter the market then surely Bitcoin price will reach $ 25,000 in the next few years

I would even believe if this guy would say bitcoin is going to be $30,000 to $40,000 in five years. Why? Because bitcoin has more than doubled its price almost every year. If we follow the path of bitcoin's price, we can easily say that $25,000 in 5 years is a low speculation. Next year, 2018, bitcoin will for sure reach $15,000. I will get back to this post and smile.

BITCOIN is the most popular cryptocurrency available in the market without any doubt. It's demand is increasing everyday which is making it more and more valuable everyday. Many people have started to consider it as one of the world's fastest growing investments. It has alot of potential to grow in future.
Anything is possible and no one can predict the future but Looking at the current growth rates, I think that the price of 25,000$ is very much achievable for Bitcoin.

It sounds reasonable, but really no one has any idea. I think BTC will increase to five figures in the medium term, but any more specific predictions are unreliable.
