Title: One of my adopted children was killed today!
Post by: Phinnaeus Gage on June 08, 2013, 08:04:38 AM
About 3PM yesterday afternoon, I took a picture of my four adopted children. They were all smiling and playful while posing for the camera. (I'll provide pics later)

Afterward, I went about doing what I was doing, leaving hours later. It was when I left the driveway and got on the road I saw the mangled body. Whatever vehicle was involved, the driver didn't even stop to let us know that an accident occur.

The mother of the child must have grieved as she gather the remaining three robins that just learned how to fly after leaving the nest after I took the pictures. I'm so glad to be part of their lives for the past two weeks, feeding them worms, bread, etc., thus the mom letting me get as close as possible to the nest without her getting spooked.

Did the worms come from your own stash?

Death is always sad even when it's not a human being. Simply the attachement to the creature mad him so important. :(
