Post by: skripsup on October 19, 2017, 12:36:20 PM
Guys, how to remove for FOREVER topics from "Show new replies to your posts". Is it possible? Because there are topics which are not interesting for me anymore, but they keep appearing there..

Try delete your posts in topics you are not interested anymore. Profile > Show the last posts of this person > choice one you want do delete, but remember your post counter will go back -1 with each deleted one.

Thanks! But -1 is not good :D
If there is an opportunity to turn off notifications from topics it would be better

No,it's not possible. What i do is i use 'Watchlist' functionality instead of 'Show new replies to your posts'.The advantage is it will show same topics in 'Watchlist' too but you can open the topic and click on 'unwatch' to easily remove that topic from your watch list.To enable 'Watch list',head over to 'Profile' then 'Notifications and Email' and check 'Automatically watch topics after replying to them.' and click 'save settings'.That's all you have to do.From next time all the topics that you reply to will appear in your 'Watchlist' and then you can 'Unwatch' the topic to remove it from the 'Watchlist'.  ;)

Is it possible to change email of my account here??

Yes. Go to Profile, -> Account related settings -> Email Adress, and change it.

Or simply go to this link -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1169190;sa=account , and change it.

Remember that it will show up in your trust, as "EMAIL CHANGED", some people might find it annoying / untrustworthy that you changed it, so i would only do it if it was really necessarily.

Thank you very much for such info!! Hmm.. it’s bad about the trust. But what’s wrong if I want to change my email to another one??

It’s a strange thing but in my profile I see my nickname instead of my email. I see my email only when I refresh the page and it appears only for 1 sec. after that I see my nickname there..

Some people might think your account got hacked / sold, but because you are using such a relative low-ranked account, ( Jr. Member), it doesn't really matter anyways.

Okay, I see..
I understand about the hacked ones.. but what’s wrong with sold ones? Or it’s some kind of stereotype?

I have somehow deleted all my previous posts not knowingly it would decrease my Activity level and Member rank. Any suggestion on how to restore my old posts?
