Title: Any easy Altcoin SHA 256 Coin for Mining? Post by: worldinacoin on June 08, 2013, 01:45:27 PM I just want to have the pleasure of mining and seeing some coins. Wonder which is the easiest to mine SHA-256 at the moment? Not looking for profit, just want to have some fun since Bitcoin is far beyond reach in terms of difficulty now.

Don't go with bytecoin, I think they were having big difficulty problems and such lately. If you just want to see coins, Freicoin pays out a lot of coins. I don't know what your hashrate is, but I think you should be in double digits per day on a pool... Although it's been a while since I mined any FRC. Post by: SpaceCadet on June 08, 2013, 02:31:47 PM I mine TRC at p2pool.org with some extra cycles I have on an iMac (definitely no screamer!) and get a steady 'income' from it. PPC may have better profitability but it takes over 500 confirms to collect! That can be a couple of days even in a fast pool! Not many options after that.
