Post by: jakanalaxtax on October 19, 2017, 03:34:51 PM
As a beginner I am a little confused with this forum, what should a novice do for the first time in this forum?
and what should I do to avoid mistakes in taking steps to get bitcoin?
I say thank you in advance.  :)

It depends what you want to know about Crypto-Currency. Check the respective section of your interest.

There are several mistakes that must be avoided when earning Bitcoins. Check the pinned posts on this section.

Hi, welcoming you into crypto.

First: there is very useful sticky "Newbies - Read before posting  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0)"

I will provide you with the most general rules:
- trust nobody
- get used to use escrow when making deals
- double check every single piece of info you get
- anything sound too good to be true? Then it's usually scam (ask others for their opinion or stay away)
- do not spam, follow local rules (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0)

Enjoy your stay here.

I think it's like working or helping to promote what they offer, with likes and sharing on facebook group or post on facebook and twitter or can also follow signature promotion. and they will pay you according to what they promise, provided you follow the terms and regulations they provide.
please straighten my answer if my answer is wrong or not correct because beginner here.
thank you.

Trust no one, and listen to very few people, try it yourself and experiment the experience yourself. Rather, of course, listen but double-check.

Hi sir, what does escrow mean?

Buyer protection.
It's another person to whom the buyer sends the funds. This escrower holds them while the item is shipped (transfered to buyer).
When buyer receive it and is satisfied then escrower sends the funds to seller. But if something went wrong (buyer receive box of rocks) then escrower will send funds back to buyer.

You are confused because you (like many others) believe that the purpose of this site is to make money. It is not. The purpose of this site is to learn and discuss.

I encourage you forget about making money here. Read everything and learn to search for answers to your questions, and you will make much more than just money.

Read guides first, then watch Bitcoin documentaries.
You are ready to help some beginners :), then help others, discuss Bitcoin etc. Have fun!

Yes, first you should know some rules about this forum.
1. the best import rule is the reply post, you should’t post lots of messages of off-topic, it’s will make you be banned.
2. The next is about your level, from the first post you reply, you will get 14 point every two weeks.

The next is what you will get from this forum.
1. you will get almost whatever you want to know, for example: mining, new coins announcement, etc
2. the next import  is that you can join lots of activities, for example: the airdrop. You can get free coins from this project, exciting, is’t it?
Finally, enjoy yourself, welcome!

beginners section can help you lot as a newbie. Just roam around in this section to learn a lot about the basic. Have the patience to read threads. Because in threads, you can read discussions that can answer your questions. If you just kept on posting a new topic, answers are limited because some people will not entertain your questions when topic has already been discussed before.

Now you as a beginner need to say that do not invest in bitcoin. The price is high, you will soon have a plug, you can lose a lot. So spend this time studying and enriching.

I also had this problem, I think because you don`t have a uniq IP. To solve it, close the page wait some time and then try again...this worked for me.
