Are everyone will buy only Bitcoin. Noone need Altcoins anymore soon?

LOL... why must everyone look at small time frames and declare deaths.  There's a reason why BTC Dominance is so high, and it's because everyone is piling into BTC for the upcoming forks so they can get the new coins spinning out of them.  I myself am going in the opposite direction as I think Bitcoin Gold will be a spectacular failure and people will then buy into the alt world again.  I could be wrong... but with just a tiny bit of bitcoin you can buy huge amounts of alts now.  Many alt coins are down over 50% the last week.

Of course not. Everybody is buying and holding bitcoin because of bitcoin gold. After the release and the dump that money will be used to buy either btc or altcoins.

This is just a fork-related dominance, it cannot last too much time. I'm expecting a spectacular twist soon.

Bitcoin increase in my opinion is reasonable because it is already a market law there is an increase and there is a low price

It would be harder to kill all the altcoins than it would be to nerf Bitcoin.

One subsidized mining pool by a bad character would do it for Bitcoin (miners traditionally are horribly greedy people.)

Right now everyone is buying bitcoin to have hands on free bitcoin gold. That means altcoins will drop. you can buy some really nice ones at lower price. They are supposed to bounce back after the hard fork. Some good altcoins to own would be ETH, NEO & OMG

It will not stop holding bitcoin after bitcoin fork on October 25 once they claimBitcoin gold then will hold it for November mid b2x segwit2x fork where already leading exchanges announced support for b2x . One of them is hitbtc so most of the altcoin will fail till end of November.

BitCoin will probably lead for a long time as the dominate currency, but these ERC tokens, and the like, that are focused on problem solving and finding new ways to use blockchain are going to have a future, as well.

There are many altcoins which have potential to get mainstream in future because of their utility. There are tokens which are designed to be used in real life transactions effectively and have actual utility that Bitcoin lacks as for now. Bitcoin enjoys the first mover advantage and will definitely dominate the market for more years to come. But that never means altcoins will not excel. Wait for some more years and let cryptos go mainstream. There will be many more dominant players in the market.

Like everyone has said, its just a bloody October due to Bitcoin fork, this will all be better soon. Good time to buy alt coins with bitcoins at the end of this fork though. Everything is almost bound to double.

this is only temporary, trading section is handle big part for bitcoin distribution beside mining and gambling, so altcoin market wouldn't over so easily, after fork their price will bounce again when people start to buy it

Alt coin market will NEVER be over, I guarantee it. These are the businesses of the future and the new economy. There are a lot of scams, but the legit companies will make you millions. This is just the beginning

It is people like you that keep spread FUD that is accelerating the price crash, to be sincere I'm not surprise about this, BTC has done 6X this year so far, why ALtcoin market has done 35X sometimes this year, so anyone not expecting price correction must be a dreamer

No this is temporary. The share of bitcoin is increasing rapidly from few days just simply because of two coming hardforks.After the hard fork period ends, it will be reduce in shares.

Alts now in bearish market and who knows when it will be over.But it WILL be over :)

Come on it's just a short-term dominance because of the upcoming Bitcoin fork but once the fork is over and people start dumping their Bitcoin Gold,  most of the altcoin's price would soar high.

altcoin is not over, altcoin will rise again but we need to waiting for a while without knowing when this is over. bitcoin price now is increase so high and makes altcoin is down hard into bottom and back to the beginning price. some of the altcoin reach the price in the last year and some of the others trying to survive. bitcoin price will be in correction and we only need to be waiting otherwise we can cut loss the altcoin we have but we are just get loss in btc amount. so if we don't want to get loss, then patience will be the good answer for this.

Hope so..its just annoing to see my portfolio at the moment. I hope it will over soon. Its killing me ,some of my coins -80%. I also do not hold any single BTC.
There is no reason why BTC should be dominant in my view.

Of course alt coin market is not over. Wait for the Bitcoin Gold fork, you will see money going back to alts.

This! Buy more of the alts you believe in as long as they are cheap. Once the BTC forks are over, People will sell their Bitcoin gold and come back to alts. Use this opportunity to accumulate and hodl. Long term we will win with alts.

We should wait for Bitcoin Segwit 2x fork too. After that what you said can be true. Demand for Bitcoin will rise more and more till that day.

Altcoin market is definitely not over, the red is temporary since traders get into BTC for the free bitcoin gold. After the fork, everything will be back. IMO, it is a good time to buy altcoin at a cheaper price now.

You are right of course but the question is where to get the money? Now everyone has invested their money in bitcoins and are not able to buy altcoins. When the price of bitcoin will be at maximum all turn their attention to altcoins and again not be able to buy them. Unfortunately it always happens.

bitcoin dominance is not at all what you said, it is about 98.9% and it has always been like this and it will continue being like this in the future also. the dominance that you speak of is not really "dominance" it is only a meaningless number called market cap and since i can, in a blinking of an eye, create a 10 billion dollar market cap with a click of a button it means it is meaningless.

in reality dominance means the adoption and usage, the demand, the supply, the merchants, the volume of transactions, the volume of trading, and then after 20 other factors you can add market cap to if you liked.

The altcoin market is not over and this is just a simple scenario in the cryptocurrency market since the market of altcoin are depending in bitcoin then when bitcoin goes up then the price of altcoins will go down because people are just selling their altcoins for bitcoin because they want to ready their bitcoin for selling at a high price.

Btc next target 6200-6400 dollar , i will sell %40 of my total amounts at 6200 6300 dollar.Btc price will drop after the 25 october,im expecting a drop below to 5000 dollar.Altcoins can rise after the fork.

 2-You can buy cheap altcoins on 24-25 october
 3- You can hold your bitcoins , for bitcoin gold.
 Or You can also select 3 options with %33 percent of your total amount

The 26th is going to see the biggest alt coin pump this year

No it's not over for altcoins mate. Just relax mate. Don't drink too much coffee. Lol. People's attention are on Bitcoin right now. Just wait after the fork. People just want to have some split coin which Bitcoin Gold. Wait until they dump it. And the volume of traders will go to altcoin markets. Actually this is a great time to buy some cheaper altcoins. They are on crash right now. Ethereum, Litecoin and IOTA. They're all on correction right. But the potential is still there. Just have to wait. Yes, Bitcoin is dominating altcoins. But that's just a stats. This is not mean altcoins already loss and don't buy them anymore because Bitcoin is dominating. Just wait and see. After the fork. Altcoin market will be bullish again as soon as they dump all their BTGs.

Alt coin market is no where near to being over. This is a regular situation when bitcoin gains value. If I were you i wouldn’t panic at all and try to buy some alt coins while they are cheap.

I dont think so and the thing you do saw into these days on which bitcoin do really have the dominance yet most people do really jumping in bitcoin because of the upcoming fork which most people do invest even more on bitcoin but doesnt mean that altcoins isnt really need anymore and for sure situations would turn upside down later on after the fork.

If eth will continue move to 0.01 btc we can see 75% bitcoin in total. Hope that bull trend in eth will stop in nearest future.

If you student of history in this space then you should know, this is the best time to be accumulating these good altcoins that are now dirty cheap currently, BTC run might continue till the end of the year but the profit will move back to altcoins sooner than later, we know people always want more

I do believe that wt the end of 2018 bitcoin dominance will be something like 30%-40%, not more

I agree a fall in market share is likely, bitcoins bull trend cannot continue forever and altcoins will surely rise when that happens. Let's not forget there are some really viable and useful alts, ETH, XRP, LTC and more

Well, you shouldn't just declare because of weekly events. This BTC dominance is just a short term one because of Bitcoin Gold and recover from the dump.

Altscoin is one people should look at, compare to Bitcoin, altcoin has more to grown while bitcoin only serve as a sending/receive purpose imo

Of course not, but it there will be huge drop in price imo, because most alts doesnt provide nothing (yet). Its just overly flooded market where majority of alts were just ride the wave of % gain

You make a mistake,  a high dominance of bitcoin doesn't mean that alt coin is dead,  but for now people prefer their investment in bitcoin because a lot of people want to get bitcoingold for free,  alt coin still a good market to make profit and alt coin is a market that never die,  a lot of people make a lot of  profit with alt coins

It is no true. All time people buying altcoins but now will be fork and everyone want earn from bitcoin. It is instantaneous

ethereum last update is awesome. i hope after the forks and segwit in btc, ethereum will go to moon, everyone is busy with btc now. but eth did really a good job. i am waiting at least 1 eth= 0.2 btc until the q1 2018.

No, this is not the end of altcoins. There are two hard fork incoming and most of the people want to receive free coin (bitcoin gold and bitcoin2x). THerefore, they sell all altcoins to buy bitcoin. Due to that reasons, altcoins do not have place to live in this month. HOwever, after these hard forks, altcoins will grow stronger and stronger. People will invest their money into altcoin because it is certain that altcoins are better and faster than bitcoin

I think its silly to think this is a possibility... the end of altcoins... there are 2 hard forks on the way very soon explaining the shift in btc dominance. I just hope some of you take advantage of some cheap alt prices today and tmoro  ;D

The more people starting to ask of altcoin bull market is over or if altcoins are dead the more I will add to my hodl bags for sure.

I think the new capital will flow into altcoins.

I guess that by now BTC dominance has risen even more... does anyone have exact figures? Do you kn ow of any graph which shows BTC dominance over time?

Where I can find the current numbers? Coinmarketcap or maybe some other website?
