To be clear: I wasn't showing interest in purchasing these. I was referring to the fact Alpaca sock were the first items ever offered by a retailer for Bitcoins. Alpaca socks is kind of a meme (as are very expensive pizza's). :)

A the current price I think 1BTC sounds like a lot, but then again I'm not in Ecuador and I don't know the trouble one would have to go through to obtain a mask like this. Still, the price just seems pretty steep.

I'm actually thinking about taking a nice long vacation to Ecuador.

What might your fees be for arranging the rental of a house and transportation for me while I'm there? I'd like to avoid touristy places in general and use you as my local exchange for btc to fiat. I speak very marginal spanish... so might also need your services as an interpreter.

its probably in the states, what happens is your post office holds all the international mail until the scheduled k9 day comes along to check em. (from what ive read).
 the tracking information i provided was the best i could do i spent the extra dollars to send it the most secure way.

Can you give us a little more info on the masks? Who makes them? For what purpose? You know? A little about their history. I'd purchase of few off you but the price seems a little steep for the masks. I'd understand that same price for the cheesboard. However I plane to purchase quite a few.

This price is more than fair for what they are, the time it takes to make them, my time to pick them up (10 hours from where i am. 2 hours from the closest major city ill be headed that way again shortly if i get enough people interested in the mask). I cant ask any less for them and I cant ask to buy them for any less. to much has to be accounted for.

they are made by the women in rural communities here in Ecuador. One side is for the sun one side is for the moon(each mask has 2 faces). they are used for sun and moon rituals, worn by the men. besides that something are not explainable, i dont have words for it. wikipedia may be of more help. I hope this helps with your questions.

Yes. You can find them elsewhere in the world as plain white chocolate but we have been unable to find the variety with nerds. I guess chispas acidas is what they call the specific variety/flavor?

I realize each one is unique........but I don't think I could commit to a mask I haven't seen. If you end up getting a bunch, could you maybe take a picture of all of them lined up and let people pick?

This is possible once I've picked them up and the bulk orders go out. The color and pattern changes are very minimal and the direction of the mo hawk like feature. I've picked someone to make them that has shown consistency in each mask and the quality is a little nicer than the others I've Seen.

I will be leaving ecuador in early September. Make any orders or request before the deadline

He was reffering to the controversial football commercial in which a man on a camel spots a "giant" bottle of coke as in coca cola and suddenly has to compete against a bus full of women and some men using some other form of transportation to get to the coke obviosuly the women and men leave the man riding the camel in the dust (pun intended the setting is the desert) ha ha!
