hi guys , i am realy so sad and have more stress, because Unfortonately i lost alot of money from 6 month ago i jost hold more alcoins i havent bitcoin i have xrp waves eth snt zcoin ark rvt ... , what i doing now please help me i cant waiting to see falling the bitcoins,i have bad feel and i dont have any hope to recover the prices.
also i hade altcoins in bittrex they disabled my account..why we havent any change to save money?

Soon after two coming bitcoin forks everything will go back to normal. I think it is better to hold your altcoins and be patient

Have patience, everything will return to its own circles, but of course with adjustments, some coins will take off and take off very much, and some will not be able to regain their previous positions quickly.

i dont think be true , because when bitcoin going up then altcoins falling also when bitcoin going down then altcoins falling

Whenever Bitcoin hits an all time high, all altcoins tend to typically go down, this is to be expected, bitcoin is like gold in the crypto world, so by inertia everything crashes when it goes up.

At this point I would your alts and hope that BTC becomes calm soon, but im not going to lie... it doesn't look like it wants to stop anytime soon.

I think eventually at some point altcoins will not pump when BTC corrects, that is when you know alts are dead, most likely in 2020 when sidechains make almost all alts irrelevant.

I would recommend to hold those coins. You do have a lot of those coins. I have invested in more altcoins too but I do not refer to it as lost investment. Because when time comes for the alt coins value to be of higher value then you can cash them out now and be a happy camper.

Bitcoin is continuing to shoot up and thus people are continuing to dump their alts for bitcoin ahead of the fork in 4 days. Just wait it out, altcoins will have their time!

First, you say that you bought altcoins to hold it and now fast forward 6 months you're whining about you losing money, no trader should be afraid of getting a loss in a short term, wait for a few more months it's going to increase, don't worry.
Bittrex has been disabling a lot of accounts without prior notice,and you're not the only person to experience it, write them a couple of support tickets and wait for some more time, because if you try to be aggressive, it further wont help with your case and it might make things even worse. So wait and be patient.

just hold your horses much more longer everything will return to it own circles.there is some coins that will take off very much and some of them will not be regain their own previous position because the bitcoin will rise

Same as for any high risk investment, only invest as much as you are willing to lose.

If the price hits your stop loss level, put in a market sell immediately and don't second guess yourself.

The price may recover or fall further, but you have anchored yourself psychologically against any anxiety as long as you stick to your plan.

Do your further analysis and determine if and when you will invest again, hopefully with the capital that you protected through the stop loss.

by my calculations for the next 120days or so altcoins will be losing value against Bitcoin, so just hold tight.

The listed altkoins are classified as generally known and, in principle, promising. Therefore now it is better to keep them and not sell them, the time will come when they will still grow in price and bring a good profit. One should not despair and have patience. Only this can bring success.

I understand how you feel and trust me on this that most of the people here today faced the same situation on a shorter or a longer period of time.
I will not say patience is the key in crypto (THIS IS FALSE WHEN YOU BUY HIGH), but the situation you are in right now, patience is only your supporter.

You have multiple options to recover, average out your alt positioning from current dips, wait till B2X, keep some BTC in your wallet so that you can get B2X after snapshot and fork.
B2X is nothing like Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin Gold and will be much more worth then both of these.

Trading is not as easy as one two three, you need to study the trends and learn from mistakes
if you are doing the same process over and over again you really will go empty handed
first never put all your money in one box, dont invest in one coin,
and never withdraw when its down, its only normal to the price to go down and up
study every situation, dont jump in a boat  without any assurance, but its true that everything is not permanent so
you better have a backup plan, never put everything in one token/coin

I agree with you, if you hold these coins then everything will be fine but when? It may take 6 months or 2 years. We cannot know it so it is stressful

It caused by the next fork of the bitcoin, i remember about in the next month the bitcoin will issue the new cryptocoin to be the next fork just like bitcoin gold. B2x coin will make a lot of altcoin holders are scary.
The more people will try to buy bitcoin, i believe in the next week we will see another hype just like what already happened with bitcoin gold hype.

Maybe you invested in wrong coins, or maybe in a wrong exchanger. Is there any violation you break? So that bittrex disabled your account? Maybe try to contact them and ask the admin why they disabled your account. Try to wait for the bitcoin price until it reaches $10k. Maybe it will take time but I think going to be worth the wait.

Alts will bleeding till the middle of november when hardfork will happen. Many ppl at crypto waiting for this event due to opportynity to get possible free coins.

The altcoins are in a dangerous position right now because their market is going to go down more because of the pump of bitcoin and because of that it makes the investors of altcoin to just transfer their altcoin to bitcoin again because the price is moving up and that is the best position if the bitcoin market is moving up; by staying in bitcoin and holding it until the prices reaches new all time high.

I do not agree, I think that the viola must grow with Bitcoin, and even more, since the violas have more prospects and bitcoin is already overrated.

You should have follow the news about forks for bitcoin and ethereum. Old altcoin investors have become obsessed with bitcoin and ether and this bull trend make them move money to btc&eth.

Before investing some money to bitcoin or altcoins, you should have kept in mind the risk of the volatility and uncertainty of the market. It's normal just relax and hold for a moment. Everything will bounce back.

First thing you need to start doing right now is to think differently about your trading situation. Don't you ever dispair or discourage. You have already waited six months, why stop there. Be patient and hold longer, this is just a temporary setback. You also have a good set of coins you are holding and I'm sure those coins will give you profit, especially ethereum. Prices will bounce back maybe weeks after these forks.

when talking about altcoins we are talking about LONG TERM investment. if you like a coin, hold it. we won't see the true value of many new coins until 2020

You should not be investing for short term run, most people who are investing in this are here for quick cash and that is where they lose out.  You should be investing and looking it at a 5 year investment.  There were alot of alt coins 5 years ago that were doing this, just look at the data on the graphs to see history of coins and if they drop more buy more.   Those people who are panicking are the ones that are looking to make crumbs for short term, while the whales travel and wait it out.

That is just most definite and I do not see anything stopping that. Some have had the chance of getting pumped few days back and going back to that state now and good for those who bought earlier who already have profit now and bad for those who took the bait. The best is either to wait if you know you are holding a good coin.

After all, a lot of people rushed into bitcoin for BTG that does not even know its left from its right and I have had far more profit I could have gotten from buying altcoins at dips and selling them when some of them got pumped recently. Just depends on each person.

Not all altcoins are valuable. So, it all balls down to the altcoin you are holding. Except if you got it free, so many people bought their altcoins for investment with BTC or ETH as the case may be and apparently no one would love the idea of losses. So, getting from airdrops does not really count as far as I am concerned. Some altcoins are dead, some are still trying to see if they can pick up, and some with a good project and team are really doing pretty well, so it balls down on how well you did your research before buying in.

It is a market full of possibilities, surprises and heartaches. Everyone should know better by now that alsbleed a lot when the king is ascending.

It would pass most definitely and we cannot keep seeing this happening. Once the cloud is clear and the second fork is out of the way, then we should probably see the altcoins pumping back. Most people are still very much afraid to get back into altcoin now. knowing there are huge possibilities of more drowns, which is still a very good opportunity to buy.

good alts will never die.... the others well...

look for proven dev teams that have stuck around and produced real software with real use cases that improve or compliment btc well.

ico's are mainly just start up ideas that really have no real need to be part of crypto other than they failed to raise funds elsewhere and spotted a gold mine of fomo right here.

also i am guessing eventually all those considered as illegal securities will be taken out

As a lot of people start to believe bitcoin is going to rise to $7k, the market will have a huge tendency to trade their alt coin back to btc to enjoy the rise in value. In addition, you also can get additional coin where you can sold it to get back more btc.

Bitcoin will hit $7k in a day or two. Alt coins will sadly be eating dust. Many alt coins are just money grab scams. Some are good but they don't have any revenue stream for token holders. It's best to stay quietly in BTC and let your money slowly grow instead of being too greedy trying to make 10 x returns in scam ICOs. Many alt coins are down 50-80% against BTC already and they will be going down till 15th Nov. The erosion in value is enormous

Hold on to your bitcoins guys. Don't give it away to the next shiny whitepaper

I feel you. All my altcoins are now falling 50% -70% less valued from purchased but I'm just holding and being optimistic that it will go up. I have storj, minereum, onions, waves and salt all are falling down.

Most altcoins will eventually be worth close to $0, except for the few projects that really take off.  It's always been this way, just go back to 2013, 2014, 2015 and look at what happened to the alts from those days.  The majority became dead coins or became totally worthless, even the ones that initially had a lot of momentum and potential.

Even something that was relatively successful like namecoin ended up becoming almost worthless.

But rule #1 is always not to invest more than you can lose.

all that remains - hodl. to sell at such prices-it is unprofitable.

Altcoin will up again in Q1 2018
