Title: Bitcoin Price Drop Post by: SimplyBTC on June 09, 2013, 11:54:25 AM Anyone have any suggestions as to why the price of bitcoins has dropped so much over the past 48 hours. They've lost about 25% of their value this weekend.

We may have more downside to go, and probably not in a straight line (meaning more mini-bubbles / bull traps.) My personal pulled-out-of-my-butt guess for an absolute bottom is around $50.

As Bitcoin failed to meet these expectations once already, people are now only speculating on the low. This bubble has to go without a desperation and capitulation phase.
