What is most likely to happen through the coming forks, Gold and the November fork to the price of Bitcoin? And how that will affect the alt coin markets.

I think that bitcoin is in its final leg up and could do anywhere between 6800 to 10000 USD. But after that i will bleed. In the meantime unless there is new money into crypto, alts shall bleed.

i think it will go up to 8000$ by the end of the year

We are seeing this stupid Gold fork in action right now BUT what do people think will happen around the November fork? Another rally or a crash leading up to it?

I say it will reach 7000

yeah you gotta have nerve to hold while investors are playing the pump and dump game with bitcoin,  Yesterday it went over 6000 now is back down at 5800.  Alot of crazy action will keep happening from here to December.

I think bitcoin will just shrug this off, the reason why I think that is because people may already learned that bitcoin is bitcoin not 2x or cash or gold from the recent compromised of bcash. Now smart people will take this opportunity to increase their portfolio's value.  

A lot of people are realizing the truth about the bticoin gold, with recent announcement from the bittrex and we are all know about the developers of the bitcoin gold is not transparent to distribute the reliable news about the bitcoin gold itself.

As many are saying it really depends on peoples' reactions to the forks but I would not be surprised if it did reach 10k. I want to know what people think will happen with Eth as it seems to be pretty stuck around $300 mark.

The bitcoin rate is increasing day by day. So strange that he has not stopped yet. I think if nothing changes, people who have invested a lot in Christmas will have an interesting gift from Santa Claus.  :D

I don't we'll see it hit any new highs until after christmas. We have a fork coming up after this one in a few days which could influence it

I think bitcoin will see another run in the next couple of weeks. A lot of high-caps are going to follow in fiat pairs!

Bitcoin will reach 10K before the end of this year, no matter what. Now everyone sees the potential. Smart traders try to get the price down in order to stock and cash afterwards. But now that everybody sees the strength, they will sit on their bitcoins, which will generate a price increase.

Well, maybe altcoin market will still at the bearish status. Attentions of people are on Bitcoin. We anything about that. We can't dictate them what to buy. It is what it is. I think Bitcoin still keeps on bubbling at the end of the year IMO. While altcoins stuck from on red marks. That's how it works. If Bitcoin surge, altcoins are falling. That's why in this situation, you need to diversify your portfolio. Bitcoin is a sure profit. So keep 50%-60% on Bitcoin. And the other is for  altcoins. You know, just for assurance that it could cover your loss once you loss to altcoins. Anyway, bearish market i think may take long. So it's recommended that you only use small percent of your portfolio on altcoins.

Bitcoin rally is not over. I think the price will go atleast to $7000-$8000 at the end of the year.
Bitcoin gold will probably will lose against Bitcoin. People will just dump Bitcoin gold for Bitcoin. So expect the price surge after the fork.

bitcoin first down then up.
altcoins will first down then up then down again.

explanation: bitcoin will have a correction which is partly started now and it will become bigger after BTG fork but won't be anything considerable. altcoins will go down all this time. some of them will have small recoveries but nothing worth looking into.

then the SegWit2x bullshit will start and price can potentially go much lower. i expect $4500 as the bottom even. but mostly in $5000-$5200 is my guess. all this time that bitcoin is dropping, altcoins will drop too. specially if bitcoin drop were fast.

when bitcoin reached bottom and the FUD its max, altcoins can have their pumps in a short time until the S2X thing is cleared and bitcoin starts rising again and alts get dumped again.

The bitcoin price will be huge this and year maybe more than $6k to $10k+ until Christmas! I also think that on every fork that happen and the value of bitcoin will become strong and the altcoin price will drop but it can recover in just a few months.

I think it's still hard to say how much damage is Segwitx2 going to cause. If Segwitx2 comes out to be the majority chain, then BTC price will surely take a hit since many investors will probably be panic selling (even when there's no need to). It's unfair to say that the drop of altcoin is directly affected by BTC too since a few (and really just a few) of the good altcoin are still holding on but no doubt Bitcoin sudden spike is indirectly the entire market.

i think that bitcoin can go until 7200-7600$ by mid-november!

after segwit 2x i think bitcoin will crash hardly! altcoin depression is the begining of bitcoin depression!

what was their announcement?  I missed this.
