ETN is not mineable.

It's a very small amount of mining coins. For this amount you will be able to purchase only 2 of the GPU and the rest of the equipment in the future. This power will be enough to earn 3-3,2 dollars a day. The payback period of the tower with the GPU is about 10 months. This is assuming that the profitability will not change. The decision to accept you.

ETN is entirely mineable. You will be able to mine it on Windows, Mac, Linux, and also on your phone.

It was not mineable during the ICO but will become mineable once the blockchain goes live on 1 November 2017.

Oh Okay. My bad!
I just read the technical details on electroneum and it is using cryptonight algorithm for their blockchain. So, it'll be mineable.
Anyway, Vega is the best out there for mining cryptonight algorithm coins as of now.

By the look of it, you will be able to mine ETN after the 1st of November and you will be able to mine it from android (cool feature but not recommended so much) and with a rig (not specs on GPU or CPU abilities). ASICs are most likely to not be able to mine ETN with them. If i were you i would wait a week to get more information after the 1st of November.

It seems to me that if you have the desire you can start with any amount. What's stopping you to buy 2 GPU and try to dig. There is now a bitcoin gold which will be produced too, with the help of the GPU. Perhaps in the future there will be other coins. In any case, it's an investment. With the money you can increase the number of the GPU. The main thing to start.

I'm mining about 18 coins per day on my 8-core i7 CPU (no GPU) giving around 250 H/s. Mining on the asia pool now. I have 2 other slower computers running that have a similar coin to hashrate ratio.

Difficulty: 8463851243

With 3 RX 580 --> 2460 H/s.

At the moment around 190 coins a day.

In order to run one rack, you need to have 2300 euros. It is a minimum. The payback period is the same for any number of the GPU. So you need to decide for yourself whether you will run the business and then decide on the solution. I started with 3 GPU. All the income I invested in increasing the number of towers. At present, I have 24 GPUs.

claymore-CryptoNote. But I will soon move to SGminer to avoid close miner software.

Same idea start with 3 RX 580 and will keep the coins in wallets and add more GPU in the futur. I pay only 0.017$ for electricity so I can gamble with some coins and see what's going on in a few years.

Hi
Where Wallet for coin etn in web???

If i'm not wrong, you can create ETN wallet, but simply visit their main website. However, it seems like they'd shut down the registration for new ETH wallets.

Below here's the statement from ETN's dev team:

Quote
AS YOU KNOW, AFTER EXPERIENCING A REAL, CREDIBLE, SECURITY THREAT, WE CLOSED ACCESS TO THE ELECTRONEUM WALLET SYSTEM AND APP TO ALLOW TIME TO COMPLETELY OVERHAUL OUR SOFTWARE AND NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE.

WE'VE BEEN WORKING CLOSELY WITH AMAZON AWS (OUR NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE PROVIDERS) AND WE'VE BEEN IMPLEMENTING SECURITY ENHANCEMENTS FROM OUR DISCUSSIONS WITH THEM AND FROM A THIRD PARTY SECURITY CONSULTANTS.

AFTER OFFICIALLY BECOMING ONE OF THE TOP 30 CRYPTOCURRENCIES IN THE WORLD ( HTTPS://COINMARKETCAP.COM/ ) AND FOLLOWING THE ADVICE OF OUR SECURITY CONSULTANTS, WE HAVE TAKEN THE DECISION THAT IN THE INTEREST OF OUR USERS' SECURITY WE SHOULD APPLY AN ENTERPRISE LEVEL SECURITY AUDIT AND EXTENSIVE PENETRATION TESTING BEFORE RELEASE.

WE’VE ENAGAGED THE SERVICES OF A SECURITY AGENCY THAT WORKS FOR THE US DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE AS WELL AS COINBASE, SPOTIFY, UBER, BLOCKCHAIN AND DOZENS MORE TOP TECH COMPANIES. WE HAVE AGREED TERMS WITH HACKERONE (HACKERONE.COM) IN SAN FRANCISCO, ONE OF THE WORLD'S TOP SECURITY AND VULNERABILITY TESTING EXPERTS. HACKERONE ARE TO CARRY OUT VULNERABILITY AND PENETRATION TESTING OF OUR PLATFORM BEFORE LAUNCH. THE INDICATED TESTING TIMESCALES ARE THREE TO FOUR WEEKS.

I'D LIKE TO ONCE AGAIN APOLOGISE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THAT THIS CONTINUED DELAY HAS CAUSED YOU. WE HAVE DONE THIS IN THE INTEREST OF ALL OUR USERS, AND TO ENSURE WE ARE IN THE BEST POSSIBLE POSITION TO ACHIEVE THE FIRST MASS ADOPTION OF A CRYPTOCURRENCY, AND BE AN ATTRACTIVE SECURE PAYMENT SOLUTION TO COMMERCIAL PARTNERS.
