It was not mineable during the ICO but will become mineable once the blockchain goes live on 1 November 2017. I just read the technical details on electroneum and it is using cryptonight algorithm for their blockchain. So, it'll be mineable. ASICs are most likely to not be able to mine ETN with them. If i were you i would wait a week to get more information after the 1st of November.
