Bitcoin has had 3-4 bubbles.  Is this the latest bubble?

Every person said that bitcoin is bubbles include Warren Buffett: Bitcoin is a 'real bubble' https://t.co/iffCe06LU6 Warren Buffett is expert on stocks market but he doesn't understand about the bitcoin and other digital coins because until right now bitcoin is always going more and more up than issues of bitcoin is bubbles and many people around the world addopted the bitcoin in their fortofolio of investment.

Crypto has become waaaay too popular lately and has a lot of space for growing. In my opinion there will be dips but I don't see a HUGE crash happening soon.

2013 was a unique set of circumstances that can't happen again - China, Gox etc. Of course there'll be falls and flat periods but nothing of that magnitude, but that only applies to BTC. I've no idea what alts will get up to.

It could actually but i dont see it happening anytime soon. I mean the hype of bitcoin is just started more and more people now know what bitcoin is, what it can do and what can be affected. More and more investors started to join in. big and small players are there, also there are more countries that legalized it now. Back then there are fewer countries and more entrepreneurs preferred bitcoin as payment since transaction is faster and it keeps on growing every time so they are doubling the profit.

It could happen to bitcoin as it has risen very fast recently however investing in certain alt-currencies seems to be better option right now.

I really do not see any bubble.
I see only natural price of rare commodity that have great ecosystem, giant user base and is accepted widely.
Where you see  the bubble?
Please do not mix Bitcoin with some empty crypto issued in billions and then pumped and dumped on Poloniex or Bittrex.

Could Bitcoin’s Bubble Lead to Long Crypto Winter?

The winter ❄️ days of cryptocurrency is over, the popularity if Bitcoin is increasingly widespread that is different from 2013. Maybe I’m too optimistic as they say but as long as this won’t change its momentum bitcoin won’t be at that big crashed that anyone organisationally implying for a number of threads already. Is this something FUD to me or spreading uncertainty. Just asking. Smell fishy to me.

The winter ❄️ days of cryptocurrency is over,

It's easy to say when the price has been rising for months on end. Everyone's a genius and the past is irrelevant. But most people who piled on will be fair weather riders. If something causes a few to jump then expect a stampede from the majority.

A bubble or not ... No, bitcoin is not a bubble! It is worth starting to understand the crypto-currency technologies, what they will bring to the society in the future, what are the prospects behind them and immediately the question of the bubble will disappear by itself.

I wonder why people are being scared of bitcoin being a bubble when its not. There will be price dips which can be inevitable because bitcoin's price is predetermined by the market. In other words it depends on the supply and the demand for bitcoin so as long as there are still people using bitcoin it will stay around.

Possibly. I think each fork is going to create a mini bubble and it will take time to recover from each one.

2013 was a unique set of circumstances that can't happen again - China, Gox etc.
There were several bubbles before that, some of which fell by a much more significant percentage than the price did after 2013.  They were involving smaller amounts of money, but huge bubbles can collapse in a similarly spectacular fashion.

Even if the exact same combination of events won't happen again, another similarly catastrophic chain of events certainly could happen.
The winter ❄️ days of cryptocurrency is over, the popularity if Bitcoin is increasingly widespread that is different from 2013.
Classic attitude - another one of those people who thinks it must be different this time.

You won't think the same way when you panic sell far too late and push the price even deeper after you're scared by a big drop.

Well the good thing is that the bubbles are becoming smaller and smaller. With that being said I think this is just a little suppression before people realize 2X is just a hoax.

Each fork? People have indeed bought Bitcoin in the runup to the BCC split, but that's not the case with BTG, which comes from the fact that forks have a different level of importance. It comes down to who's behind it, the way these entities handle everything, etc. Despite the fact that BCC and BTG are similar in the way that they are blatant cash cows for the entities behind them, BTG by far can't scale up against BCC. Exactly for that reason, people with high initial expectations will end up in a big disappointment if they see how the value of this shitcoin will get dumped down real low. To add, the fact that there isn't any sort of protection against replay attacks is incredibly shady.

Sometimes I look myself on the mirror, as they say. I have a friend who teach me about bitcoin who have the same ranked as you. The one that make uncertainty or group of it is not beyond the forum itself, I think I’ve learned a good lesson from him. And this forum only shows me how to see different people whatever they’re position is because in the end the last one that you should trust is yourself.

I don’t know if your talking about that the price rise only for months, for I’m sure it rise since it was made. From zero value to more than 6000$ now.

Just because the Bitcoin price rose with +/- 600% from last year, does not indicate a Bubble... we have seen this before and

it always recovered to it's highest price. Bitcoin has seen phenomenal growth, because Japan embraced it as a currency and

that was a big push factor... The long scaling battle has also been resolved this year, so people are more optimistic about the

future and they are investing more.  ;)

Even though I usually do not enjoy fud that phrase, "Long Crypto Winter" is really good.

I am not sure that we are in a Bitcoin bubble.  I follow some traders that are adept at technical analysis and or fundamental analysis and have been following and making charts for cryptocurrencies.  Generally speaking they do not feel the market is oversold by very much at the moment.

The ICOs on the other hand.  Yeah I could easily see them crash and burn.

Yes it is

Elaborate.

If we are to face another long period of stagnance in terms of price, that would give people who missed the boat a chance to get their fair share of fortune, and that would also be an event in which a lot of coins would be offloaded in the market given that most people have already cashed out by then. It would be an interesting event if everything that we are in right now is just a part of a big bubble since it would be a new climb with loads of new people who are willing to spend money instead of just a few whales who manipulate the price. How fast could it recover? How long 'til the rocket gets fueled?

A few questions that I'm excited to be answered but was scared enough to ask three years ago.

It's not the size of the bubbles or the falls, it's the duration of the hangover. I cannot see any circumstances where it takes over three years to regain an all time high. That'll take it beyond the next halving all the while legislation is being clarified, antis are coming around to the idea, all the fork shit will be stone dead by then and media coverage is totally changing in its tone.

Price hasn't increased by 100x or even 10x fold in this year like in 2013 so it is too early to call bitcoin is in bubble right now that can brust at some point. I  think ICO has played major roll in this surge lately and people from developing countries are now also getting into bitcoin. India have added regulation in crypto trading which is actually better than complete ban. Similar regulation are being established in many asian and african countries that mean bitcoin is being distributed all over the world and new money is pouring into bitcoin.

There is nothing to worry about this huge pump we have this year, in next 5 year price can even go to $100k  ;)
