I don't need a lot of features but the important thing about the exchange must be a reliable, easy for use and there is no a lot of verification. I give you an example just like the binance exchange site. to get listed on there doesn't need a lot of requirement.

I like Binance the most.

Low fees, even lower when using their token, responsive team, great interface (especially PRO).

The only thing I miss are stop loss and limit orders, but the team said they are working on it and should be released soon.

the important low fees, easy to use, and the most important fast response when there are problems. many exchanges have low to respond when there is a problem. We as members need this

When choosing an exchange, I usually check on its withdrawal fees first, esp for bitcoin. The next thing is how quick and good the support replies and find solution in each issue so a reliable 24/7 support is really great. Third thing I can say (but it should not be the last), is the availability of good coins in that exchange. So this will relate on how easily but securely one can list his coin in that exchange.

It will be in some few month. And if they somehow could make USD deposits, they will be a leading not DEX exchange

I think the current exchanges are OK, only they need to not go out of business. I can count, easily, 5 or more exchanges which were at the top of the crypto world and are now gone, without lasting longer than 5 years.

1. Mt. Gox
2. Cryptsy
3. BTC-e (came back but lost customer funds)
4. Can't remember the name, but I personally lost money when it closed
5. China closing exchanges

There is A LOT more than the above, so yeah I think the main thing is they actually need to stay in business to build up trust.

I use Coinbase to exchange btc in eur and transfer them to my debit card, but high fees. I use that 'cause is easy to use and reliable. To exchange btc in other crypto I use Poloniex or Bittrex, the best twice.

My ideal exchange has to be reliable, deposit and withdrawal should be fast and without problems.
Support ticket should be answered within 24 to 48 hours and not leaving the users hanging with standard answers.
Good luck to your project.

I used bittrex for quite sometime now but I would not suggest it to others because of it's restrictions for verification. I would say verification will be the toughest job to handle for an exchange.

Yobit, Bitrex and polenix are best exchange sites which gives various types of coins options to sell and buy. Verification is the good to be safe for the both the parties securities in every exchange site.
I use to deal with the bitcoins only as of now so I always sells the bitcoin in localbitcoins exchange only fiat cash. There verification is expects when the time of selling or buying coins.

First of all, volume, competitive fees and variety of coins are important.

The most recent incident with Bittrex is unpleasant. The sudden request of identity verification left many users stranded. So advance notices and communication with users are deem important.

It must be fully integrated with trade support tools, reasonable transaction fees, easy to use interface, enthusiastic and serious support staff, exchange should only select and list potential projects. I often use Bitfinex and Bittrex to trade coins because both are reputable in the market today and the security is very high.

The perfect exchange has to be decentralized in my opinion.

There is no need to trade decentralized assets in centralized exchanges which control most of the supply.

Title: Re: What is your ideal crypto exchange?

I would like an improved interface, in relation to the existing exchanges on the market. Also greater physical and legal security of the exchange, backed by a large organisation, that is not only in the crypto world.

In a sense, an exchange is not totally part of a decentralise environment, since investors, can change into fiat currency.

Low transaction fees
User friendly
Reliable
Secure, a lot of verification. Project owners should invest a lot in security part. This is I care most.

Ideal crypto exchange should be

- decentralised so hard to shut down by governments
- slick UI tailored for both beginner and trader
- Reliable platforms and good support
- low but sustainable fees
- friendly to new coins

Decentralized with good support and quick is 3 different things. May be somewhere in .. 2020  :)

so far i just use yobit and cryptopia, both are very easy to use, and fast when doing transaction. I think the cost is not too much of a problem, the most important is how fast when the deposit or withdraw, and not too often a problem or maintenance when we use it.

At present, the important security issue is translated into privacy.
Users do not want to expose themselves to identity theft with their personal data in traditional exchanges.
That is why, exchanges that do not collect that private info, are lately the preferred ones.
And in that line of thought, it is clear that later (not in the immediate present)
fully decentralized exchanges will be very popular.

First of all the main important thing for me is the security of the exchange.Make it sure that it would really be reliable and wont be easily be hacked just like what happen on some exchanges back in the previous years and i do believe this thing is the main concern specially on us traders which do make big amounts of trades. In this thing we wont really bother too much if the site security is realiable.Next would be less fees, most people do love this stuff that exchange wont really overcharge their traders or users of the site.Next, the GUI, it should really be friendly and not too heavy just like what we saw on Etherdelta.

I prefer Etherdelta and cryptopia exchanger as my ideal crypto exchanger because it is the easiest and fastest exchanger I know. There are lots of available tokens thats why many of users used this exchanger..

Lets see, it has to be exchange with lowest fees, without bots, without any kind of problems and it must have fastest cashouts.
Of course it has to be anonymous exchange, without asking for documents if you want to withdraw more than few hundreds dollars.
Does it sound like decentralized exchange somehow?

Used to be bittrex, until they started cracking down on people's accounts. I don't particularly like etherdelta, but I think the decentralized exchange idea is great.

You need to create /code it in such a way that it will still be responsive even under heavy load.
Ideally youll have an android and ios client, then any other device will access through web browser.
Have a chatroom available, allow users to enable or disable it as they wish.
Have lower fees than competitors.

I don't want it to have a withdrawal limit and the fees should be low as 1k sats only. And also shitcoins won't be allowed to get listed and all altcoin should be examined by crypto experts first before getting listed so traders won't lose too much of their money because of those scammer devs.

My ideal exchange already exists and it's Cryptopia. If only they would decrease the amount of withdrawal fee then everything is perfect. If only Bittrex does not force people to verify their accounts or remove the verification process then they will be the best ideal crypto exchange for me.

I also bet to cryptopia, it is one of the good exchange sites in crypto currency industry. Moreover I also choose Yobit and Cryptodao, the list of coins and altcoins included to this site are higher price value. I think if we invest in this exchange site we will earn much income.
Definitely I have some numbers of altcoins in this three sites I still hold it for now because I expect good amount back into my wallet.

It would be bittrex. Those other exchanges is very upleasant to my eyes and while the others have ugly user interface. Bittrex is very simple, clean and neat that is very perfect for traders that has a high standards for trading sites.
