Hey guys, I'm wondering which altcoin I should invest in, I'm thinking about waves?

I wanna do this ASAP before the hard fork :)

Do you think it's a good idea to invest into Waves? Any other altcoins worth investing in??

go for fundamentally strong coins like stratis ( they have masternodes update news on 30th october), verge (xvg) is a good option , omg (omisego), litecoin(for safer investment )

I have no idea about wave because I have not researched well about Wave but you can go for ETHER,NEO,RIPPLE.Lets go for first Ether because Ethereum is an open software platform based on blockchain technology that enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications.Second is NEO because  NEO uses a unique blockchain algorithm that improves upon Ethereum’s model.NEO has made some outstanding progress in both value and market capitalization.And the third one is RIPPLE because Ripple is a very popular network, many banks across the world use it as the basis for their own settlement infrastructure and also their developer team is good.And you can also go for IOTA, Bitshares , PeerCoin, Zcash(ZEC),Tezos, Dogecoin, Ethereum Classic, DigitalCash(DASH),SysCoin(SYS),Verge(XVG), but before invest in any coin , first research well about that coin or take advice from well experienced traders or investers if needed to avoid loss.

I would go with ETH because they've just had their fork which seemed to go well. A lot of alt coins could shoot up after people get their bitcoin gold, so yes now might be a good time. But people will give you different answers based on their own preferences.

Ethereum is so under value right now. You can also look in the way of central.  Central is going to make any altcoin you hold spendable. Lastly you should buy horizon. Is not in the market yet but you can follow its development. Good luck.

I will invest in Waves, Verge, Zec, Sys. Also I like small cap coins such as Zen, Safex.

I do not really know about other Altcoin. But all I know is, Ethereum is indeed the best Altcoin. You can compare the ETH rating with the other Altcoin. ETH growth is very significant compared to other Altcoin. Even when compared with the existing Altcoin long ago, ETH can surpass it. For example like Litecoin, I think Litecoin is quite famous and old. But ETH remains the best Altcoin.

Yes i have same idea, but if you buy you can buy bitcoin in 25/10 and sell on 27/10 you will get profit . after that i think BTC will continue up.

I would suggest that do not invest your bitcoin yet much better to keep it into your wallet before the actual hardfork to generate more BTG(BitcoinGold) this coin would be your income during hardfork. Maybe after hardfork is the best time to buy ethereum and lite coin both these coin are best coin to invest and i feel that it would follow the success of bitcoin.

Waves is somewhat the same with ethereum i think because their are also tokens or altcoins that are being built on their own platform. But i guess i would agree with the list you just made because most of them are popular users and especially ripple. Ripple has a unique use because of its banking ability although cant be mined, it is one of the successful not mined altcoin in the market.

I think Eth the best altcoin. All i know this.

Go for ETH, NEO, OMG and PIVX.

ETH is still crypto with most transaction and now after fork is crazy fast
NEO will continue to grow a new ICO is coming on neo platform
OMG is still the best and most promising token
PIVX implement zpiv, which is most anonymous PoS coin

every coin that is undervalued right now especially those who have high marketcap you should expect a high rise after the fork especially siacoin which have the price of 61 sat right now Clam Coin also got a huge drop from 200k to 60k i think its the best coin to invest in but in its not guarantee it would have a high rise after fork.

What do you think about investing in altcoins before the fork versus exchanging everything to Bitcoin to receive Bitcoin gold?
It's possible that the value of Bitcoin gold will be much more than what you'd earn by holding altcoins.

I'm personally keeping everything in Bitcoin till after the fork, I think that'll make me more than investing in altcoins.

Well if you are thinking for a long term investment I would put my money on ethereum , waves and Neo this three has exceptional advantage , Personally I invest more on ethereum because I think it could surpass bitcoin value someday sonve many developers has already itegrating the ethereum blockchain

For long term I'm looking at ETH, WAVES, LISK and NEO. But I'm not sure if I should wait for the 2nd fork or not.

Just 2 days left for 2nd fork i think it is 25th of this month am i right? So after this fork 100% the altcoins will charge up. People start to make a trade with altcoins. So this is the good time to buy altcoins.

Why Waves and not NEO or Ether? Are you considering it for just it's low price at the moment, or for any particular reason? I'm honest with you, I don't really understand how they work, in terms of technology, so I don't know their true potencial. I know they all aim to be platforms to raise investments for emerging projects, or at least that's their main use right now, but I don't know which one is better for that purpose. I know I hear a lot of great things about Vitalik, and when you make investments, sometimes it's a good thing to invest on the team behind the projects, when they are really good at what they do.

I really think that being a platform for ICOs has amazing potencial, and it's no surprise to see Ether in a solid second place in coinmarketcap, because those ICOs fuel a lot of money into the coin. But when it comes to choose one of the three, I would go for ethereum just because of Vitalik. I don't think this is stupid, because investing on the team backing a project is very important, because they are the ones that make it happen.

Waves will be once of the best coin to buy. Everyone saying me it will be good investment with huge profit. Especially before the fork

What correlation is there between the upcoming fork and investing in altcoins? Not much if you ask me. So why don't you just hold as much bitcoin as you can to get more free coins when they airdrop. Do you remember when bitcoin cash reached $800+? It might happen again, and that would be worth way more than a long term trading of chosen coin.

I would say Nexium.  The first quarter of the year should yield some good profits as there is significant news on the horizon.  Looks like the devs are finally going to get their stuff together.

Like the idea of "0x", but where should more people learn about this project? I mean, there is no official ANN or at least any lively discussion here. I have learnt about this project only by chance on youtube, which is imo not ideal.

Otherwise, I prefer XMR, LTC, OMG and maybe also some smaller coin, need to think about it.
