It's where I learned to convert most of my tokens into ethereum. After converting it to ethereum, you can use changely or shapeshift.io if your ethereum is enough. Goodluck.

What token do you have?

you should visit

https://coinmarketcap.com/

search for the token you have and click on it.

on that page select the markets tab and find the markets and trading pairs for that token.

Then you will have to create an account at the crypto exchange market and trade the token for BTC.

Alternatively it may be possible to exchange it simply by using a crypto swapping service like shapeshift or changelly.

If your token is an erc20 token, token for ethereum protocol. Then you can use etherdelta but its probably a good idea to look into using metamask wallet because i believe it will protect your private key better than connecting your wallet to etherdelta.

also depending on the token it may not already be visible inside your ethereum wallet so u would have to manualy add the token name, smartcontract address, and decimal places.

Hey. To convert your tokens to BTC, you need to go to the service of reviewing all the Coinmarketcap crypto currency, find your own token and exchange on which you can sell it. And then go to this exchange, register there, translate its tokens and sell it. 8)

I have ATHENA and I can't search it here: https://coinmarketcap.com/

ATHENA‘s ICO is still ongoing, usually the exchange list token after ICO. Athena is an ERC20 token, most likely it will be listed in etherdelta first.

It is better for you to ask about exchanges information in the ANN thread.

It is very easy to convert tokens to bitcoin. You should look for good market on coinmarketcap and go there to exchange it to to btc. If there is no btc market you can first convert it to ether for sure.

You need to see where the coin is listed first. If its the erc20 token then it maybe on etherdelta or idex.io. you then need to find the coin and deposit it in to the said exchnages. You can then trade it and withdraw the ethereum or bitcoin you sell it for.

Good luck man

You can do that on any bitcoin exchange you just have to deopsit your tokens to your account and then you can sell it for bitcoin at market rate of that coin. I do mostly sell my tokens on hitbtc as it's quiet easy and hassle free try it.

EtherDelta is a bit complicated for the average crypto-maniac, let alone for beginners. The best advice is to HODL the asset until it becomes listed on a more mainstream exchange or use escrow and trade it privately. Can also go to coinmarket and find the markets where it is listed, if that hasn't been done yet, and keep watching for it on the list there until it appears.
