As we all know bitcoin gold already happened today ,now we have to figure out  how to claim the free bitcoin gold .
I personally have bitcoins in my electrum wallet with my private key exported in my hard drive already..:)
Please whoever have already claimed your BTG please let us know the steps.

Hold your bitcoin in a cold storage wallet where you control the private keys by october 25th and follow section where the announcement will probably come tomorrow.

follow these steps
download their client bitcoingold when ready
move your bitcoin from your wallet to another one
dump the privatekey from your bitcoin wallet
import the privatekey in the bitcoin gold wallet, and you are done

The official website of bitcoin gold is down for several minutes...  ???

Not yet claimed. I dont even know it has happened to being 24th of oct. , was thinking is 25th though ;D

Am still holding my bitcoin tight till after 25th of October, but what will be the prize of the coin?

You know, you can't claim something that isn't yours. And at the same time you can't claim what is already yours. If you are in full control of your Bitcoin, like you say you are, then you will get Bitcoin Gold. It's as simple as that. And if you really want to control and use your BCG, then you must learn to spend a bit of time to educate and teach yourself. If you follow someone else, you can't blame them if something goes wrong.

We don't have enough information about BTG. This situation is like nothing is happening.
But But if just one small information leaks out everybody will jump on it so I understand that too.

I Think is stated somewhere we have to wait untill 1st November to the wallet to be released, a couple of exchangers (yobit and bitstar ie) are trading both, but that's only a future not the real coin

I find there are quite a lot of trading platforms that will allow you to receive free bitcoin gold at a ratio of 1: 1 if you let bitcoin on your trading platform you will get bitcoingold at a rate that I say the trading platform has. Bitcoins for users such as yobit, bitfinex .. and bittrex floor has maintained the bitcoin to update data for bitcoin gold but there is currently no bitcoingold and if you store in online wallets or cold wallet Please wait for the news on October 25

Not only for few minutes, its is down for many hours. May be they are updating their site with information like blockexplorer, exchange, wallets and guide on how to claim your bitcoin gold.

But according to them they might not publish bitcoin gold wallet before November so all we have to do is wait for the official launch of bitcoin gold blockchain and its wallet.

Never share you bitcoin's private key with others and don't forget to send all bitcoin you have to another wallet before claiming free bitcoin gold using third party wallets in future.

I guess we just have to wait some more.

you don't need to claim bitcoin gold by yourself i think , you just need to send your bitcoin to any trusted exchange that provide bitcoin gold

such as yobit ... and so on , i don;t know if there have anyother exchange support that , but yobit i know they provide bitcoin gold cliam,

thats what is most annoying with forks. i don't want to send the coins in my cold wallet to a new address. thats why i think that i have to wait even longer before i can sell this coins. because i have to wait until my hardware wallet is ready for this split too.

I have a small amount of bitcoin on bittrex and I know that bittrex will give an equal amount of bitcoin gold to those who have bitcoin in the exchange. Those who have them on other exchanges might not get them.

The website is working now. Also, I wonder if they launch the wallet early in november or later on.

Afaik this is only possible if the coins was in the exchange already by the time the snashot hapened. Sending them after the block where they made the snapshot means that you are not entitled to get the free bitcoin gold, atleast that's what I have understand with the stuffs I've read today. Btw, bitcoin gold site contains the lists of exchanges which supports them so you can see which exchange you can get the bitcoin gold without having to claim it yourself.

You need to import private key from your electrum wallet and import into wallet which supports btg

With some large trading floors, they will announce the acceptance of bitcoin gold, you can use them, in addition, follow the traditional way, keep bitcoin in your hardware wallet. You will not lose anything

You shouldn't really on any online wallet to provide those coins for you, better to own the privkey.
I wouldn't call yobit a trusted exchange either by the way.

I have some bitcoins on the blockchain.info and I have the private key but I can not see the clear guide about this claiming to get free BTG coins although I have checked all information on the bitcoin gold website but there are not any places to show how to claim this BTG . Should I wait for the claim guide until November 1st? If someone know this link of BTG claim Please give me a link for it? Thank you , All friends.

store your bitcoin in some exchange that support bitcoin but its tolate rigth now the for is already implemented but i recieve an email this morning that blockchain is supporting bitcoingold if you have btc in blockchain you can get btcg now.

I guess if you own even a one coin it's not so easy to wait. And there is so much thing that could go wrong.
I personally don't have any Bitcoins, but I'm waiting this to resolve too.

You must have BTC in wallet you hold private key at hardfork time! Other way only from people need share they coin for member!

as long as there isn't a wallet available you can't claim you coins.
you have to wait until they have premined enough coins. of hasn't the blockchain even started? and i am not sure if they released the code that is needed to build the wallet.
