Title: Green everywhere
Post by: Itachinho on October 24, 2017, 01:13:29 PM
Hi everyone, what do u think about all alts recovering ? Does it gonna continue or it'll dump within days or hours ? I've moved my bitcoin to neo omg ark nexus shift and pivx for about 20% btc gains, do u think i should move back to btc because alt will fall ? and what about the segwit2x consequences ? same as btg ?

Difficult to say as always uncertain times, I wouldn't open any positions until the segwith2x dust settles. I expect bitcoin to take some punches now that the BTG snapshot is done and another pump right before the segwit2x

Yes, green everywhere because of the bitcoin fork. It's time for altcoins now to pump.

Since this "green everywhere" is caused by the "conclusion" of the latest bitcoin fork, I think it will not be like that for long time unless the next bitcoin fork will end. With the next bitcoin fork, which is much serious than this bitcoin gold, I believe there will be much greater demand of bitcoin thus making alt coins in a bloody waters again.

Yes, people are moving their fund to altcoins due to fork. I don't expect it to stay this way for too long. We have to wait till BTG is listed on exchange and see how it goes from there. However, I wouldn't mind if some of them jump high  :D

That's what I'm hoping for. I missed out on this turnaround.

I don't see alts recovering this year. At least not until the second fork is over. The market needs new money to flow into it also if we expect to see some nice overall gains.

Price of some coins for sure will continue to rise, but in my opinion it will be only few coins. Personally I keep Sys, SC, DGB and Burst.
Time will show where it will hit ;)

No alt coin is immune to an increasing bitcoin price, they're made to bleed.

I agree that the price of Bitcoin has a huge impact on the price of altcoins. However, I do not expect a sharp increase in BTC price in next 2-3 weeks. I think that the price of BTC should stabilize now, which will allow the altcoins price to rise.

Finally it is good to see alt-coins recovering after a week of red days. I do not think that it will continue to be green when btg holders start dumping for bitcoin. As always, if bitcoin pumps, alts dumps. It is better if you get your profit now while it is still on green than get trapped later when it gets red again.

Green Alts however I'm not sure when it will fall. It has been continuously decreasing for months. There are no real signs of recovery; Probably because Bitcoin increases so fast that alts can not catch up.
It is difficult to speculate.

Yeah that's my best too, but I think it will happen after we see what the fuck segwit2x is all about, quite the drama and it brings a lot of uncertainty, it's a totally dick move and even if it turns out to be fluff it will surely affect bitcoin's price, which way, hard to tell.

I expect that after this fork people will understand that this is mainly speculation and during the Segwit2x everything will look a lot more calm.

ETH will hit .06 before it dives back down again prefork. Post fork eth is set free to test new ATH eventually.

ETH is on good and stable position for sure, but also LTC have big potential ro rise up now. Actually all coins from top 10 should be on green for some time.. ;)

It's hard to say with certainty but I expect the green to continue for at least a few days, many people won't have even checked the prices yet and will soon jump on board when they do.

I don't know much about Burst but for Digibytes and Siacoin I am not sure. Storj has much better product then siacoin. And Digibytes was on the huge rise because of news from the city bank. But DGB didn't win in the city-bank contest. Why do you think about rise for this coins? I mean fundamental reasons for it. I'd much prefer bigger coins like DASH or NEM. Those are big players and there are big expectations in the market for them.

It will be red within a few days because we have another fork coming up. I am not buying anything right now because it's impossible to predict how this will all continue.

There will never be a time when it will be easy to predict the market. If you want to play ball, you gotta enter it at some point, best to enter it when its bleeding, rather than when it's going moon.
