   Social networks are the most powerful and demanded instrument of communication among all inhabitants of the planet. More than 70% of Internet users are registered on social networks, and these are more than two billion people! However, despite the enormous rate of development of different types of social networks there is no ideal, functional and secure unified network for LGBT-community.

   SUGAR will become the first social network for representatives of LGBT communities of the WHOLE WORLD! Now the search and further communication of congenial people are becoming simple and available!

   The social network applies own cryptotokens of LGBiT which is used for mutual settlements between users, purchases of goods and services, and for raising funds for charitable purposes. LGBiT is a token on the Ethereum platform of the ERC20 standard. It will be added for listing at  cryptocurrency exchanges.

i still confused about this project mission and about the mean, maybe you can give reason why you using some word sugar in your project, maybe there is history about it

 When the project team was working at the vision of the future network there was the question: “How should we name it?”. At the beginning there were 8 working versions. The main requirements for the choice were brevity, memorability and positive associations. During the discussion the team has decided not to connect the name to LGBT-theme directly in order to not hurt anyone feelings. “Sugar” was chosen from other remaining alternatives. This name does not carry any hidden meaning – its just a word. That is the story))

Tea, coffee, dance? And sugar is a lot of sugar. Joke. It seems like a nice social network. But, among a large number of networks it is difficult to stand out. You need to attract the people with something.

Does the LGBT community really need to be segregated on their own social blockchain? Why wouldn't LGBT people just use an existing social network? It's not like they are banned

Clearly the idea is to support the LGBT community and provide support for the many challenges faced by those that are LGBT.  I'm sure we all like to think that we're beyond the need for support efforts focused at minority groups but unfortunately we just aren't there yet and probably won't 'truly' be for a long time.

I'll just add that while I'm really hopeful for success of this project, I have to be careful when considering investments.  It is good that you have a modest entry point in donations as far as that goes.  Ultimately, I just have doubts about competing in the already competitive social network market.  I have to consider profitability.

Then again, Sugar could be the Facebook that dethroned Myspace.  Well, you have my attention, Sugar.  I'll be watching.

  SUGAR is not one of many social networks. SUGAR is setting the pace as the first social network for representatives of the LGBT communities worldwide. It is designed to be an avenue for like-minded people to locate and interact with one another without barriers like sex, age, social statuses, color or race playing a divisive role. The only uniting factor for the over 300,000,000 potential users of the platform will be a unified ideology. The main difference from other social networks will be using of the Blockchain technology and integration of its own token - LGBiT.
 
  Users of the site are assured of the confidentiality of their personal information, because the platform makes use of the latest encryption method and the unique Blockchain technology in sending messages, storing and transferring data, including multimedia and files. SUGAR social network makes use of its own LGBiT crypto tokens, which users use for mutual settlements, payment for goods and services, as well as for fund-raise for charitable purposes.

 In this post we want to talk about LGBiT token and its economic value:

   LGBiT token (LGBiT) is a digital token of the ERC20 standard, created on the Ethereum platform. The main purpose of LGBiT is the organization of the economic system within a new world social network "Sugar". But the task of LGBiT is not only the creation of a new economy around itself — LGBiT should become a unique token that will make every user of "Sugar" network an integral part of the overall community.     So why do we suggest to buy LGBiT today and how beneficial can be such an acquisition?


    As well as many other digital tokens, LGBiT will be implemented on the Ethereum public blockchain as a ERC20 token. LGBiT tokens will be available for transfer between the users and work is currently under way to ensure their rapid reintegration into cryptocurrency exchanges, where they will be available for trading. These tokens will be necessary for conducting marketing promotions and creation of bonus and referral programs, which will help to "Sugar" network users to receive LGBiT. "Sugar" project plans to purchase LGBiT from its holders in the necessary quantities to ensure marketing purposes. Certainly, "Sugar" could reserve a certain part of the token under project purposes, but the "Sugar" team considered that it would be wrong and economically incorrect to keep the part of the LGBiT which are not backed by demand for ICO.

This project will not be successful. Now there are a lot of different social networks to which people are accustomed and a new project should be ideal. On the contrary, this social network will indicate that LGBT people are being shielded from the world and are not normal people. IMHO

IMHO it sounds super difficult to start with the token and then build the social network around it (than doing it the other way round)
I'm a member of the LGBT minority and only recently discovered crypto, ICOs, etc. I would like to invest in an ICO to support our movement and I'm trying to decide between these two ICOs. I have no idea how you evaluate/compare ICOs.

I support LBGT community but I think this coin needs a better direction. What's the plans to utilize it? I mean yes it's an idea but it just sounds like a background story as an excuse for why the coin is around. I would like to see some sort of community to be build around this coin.
