Replacing banks is a great application  ;D   Also anything that requires an unchangeable database.  It would be good to use it for historic documentation - eg signing video streams to ensure the video is authentic and untampered..

Are you trying to make a new coin or are you just trying to get some answers for your survey? If anything, they could just use Bitcoin for all digital payments.

In my opinion, it's real time micro-transaction. Imagine paying something in automated fashion by the minute or even seconds. Or receiving your salary by the minute. I think when this happen, banks will no longer be a significant part of any trade.

 but as we know the markets tend to be unstable in nature

Cryptocurrencies are important because of not sticking to any specific country. Dollar can, for example be the coin that unites people, because most of them use it, but at the same time this would lead to complete USA dominance. Cryptocurrencies, on the other hand, can unite people from different countries without specific political context. They could also be very useful if they were accepted as means of payment throughout the world, because for now one has to convert the money into local currency in almost any country to buy something and I would say it's rather inconvenient.

New people may not be able to accept crypto, it's hard for us to educate crypto to them. They already prefer the real and the instant. But all there is a process and there is a saying "do not know then no love"

If the project is in accordance with the developer plan and can be used to solve the problem, I think everyone can receive and appreciate it.

Replacing currencies issued by private banks would be not too bad, however I thing that the best application use comes from the environment of smart contracts.

i ask myself do i need this application ?, do people will need it in the future ?
