Title: Question: Why the number of PPC mined upto now exceeded the number of BTC?

It's wired since PPC is much newer, and its blocks are much less than BTC.

Looks like current block rewards for PPC are in the neighborhood of 425PPC/block, whereas BTC is 25BTC/block. The way that block rewards are calculated is a little more complicated, but I'd wager that 425 vs 25 (with the same average time between blocks) accounts for the higher number of total coin mined.

It seems to me that more and more PoS blocks are coming into defense. PoW blocks seem to be mined only once an hour in the average. So a reward of 25 BTC every 10 minutes resembles 150 PPC in one hour. And the PPC is young.

They have a different strategy.

PPC mines faster than BTC, that's why.
