Title: Besides the forum what other resources are there to find out about airdrops?
Post by: MadCryptoKnight on October 25, 2017, 02:14:27 PM
I would like to find out about airdrops as soon as they're announced.  What are the best resources to do so?

Edit: I've created a search query on BitcoinTalk that displays the latest Airdrops in the Announcements (Altcoin) category. Here you go: https://cnhv.co/bjo5

All you have to do is keep an eye on the ANN section, everything new drops there first. Good luck

I also use https://airdropalert.com but you gotta watch here in the Ann forum too because sometimes the info there is not up to date and you will miss on those early stages of airdrops or even airdrops that are still running but are shown as "past airdrops" there.

https://twitter.com/airdropadvisor?lang=en

Hello dear/seniors, airdrop means new bounty launched, so is it just register and claim  new ETH token or BTC.
Thanks advance..

Whatever social media you prefer (twitter, telegram, facebook) for example all have multiple groups on there announcing alerts for new airdrops as they see them.
I use crypto.airdrops on telegram the most, followed by a facebook group I can't remember the name of - but just type in airdrop into the search field and find one.
Basically they are all going to be offering much the same. A lot either send you to airdrops webpage directly, here for the announcement or to a googleform to complete. So basically if you want to save all the drama - just login here and check the Altcoin/Token announcement forum for new ones.
At least while you're here you can get a consensus of what people's initial feelings are before you jump on board with an airdrop that may/may not be sketchy.

Also - I like the Crypto.airdrops on telegram as they have decided to stop advertising sh*t airdrops from places that require you to send them something to secure your airdrop. Thats a f*cking joke right there and as bad as ones that ask for your private key. (Sorry for the little rant at the end there...)

Let me know if you find an awesome alert group though - I like airdrops! (the nice ones - not the scam/sh*t waste-of-time ones) :)

I also use Airdropalert. That's the only one I'm really aware of to find upcoming airdrops.

Just lurk at the alternate cryotpcurrency section and you are good to go.

Following other platforms might give you trouble since no feedback about it compare to the airdrop opened here in the community.

The Ann section on here is the best. There's also a few twitter accounts which notify of free bounty and airdrops

Hey guys, it's not always that simple. Some new projects are not listed on airdrop or twitter. It's just about research on the socials and google. So make research on your own  ;)

You won't miss any airdrop by following this forum and airdropalert closely :)
Almost all airdrops listed in airdropalert.com links you back to this forum, so just take some time to read others comments and reviews and you will do well.

As others have mentioned, airdropalert.com is pretty good. Besides that i also like to use http://coinmarketcal.com/, it is community driven and not only has airdrops, but also alot more big events for alot of different currencies.
