What annoys or worries you most in crypto?
How do you think it could be eliminated and dealt away with?

Several new exploits of security are in the news: what worries me is that there are almost certainly more flaws in security that we've not yet uncovered.   I would wish for a world where we didn't have to spend so much time worrying about security, but the reality is can't just ignore the current set of flaws and pretend that they haven't been found.  Too many read the news and then don't react to patch their security issues.  I get concerned that a relatively modest risk gets greater over time without more active change to respond to an ongoing security threat.

I was probably most annoyed by the Equifax team: they should have been capable of responding to the patch issues quickly and professionally, instead of being responsible for such a large data leak.

There are a lot of issues and problems that are on the crypto market, but which sector are you referring to? The most annoying issue that is happening right now is the security, a lot of bitcoin and crypto holders are being hacked easily because their wallets doesnt offer them too much protection.
And i hate those annoying emails that i get everyday on my email about pishing sites about blockchain and myetherwallet, they are disgusting... i dont know why some people is strill trying to hack holders by that way..

What annoys me and worries me in the crypto world are the scammers and hackers. I hope scams must be done and I hope there is no hackers that live by now to secure every privacy of people.

If hackers are sending thousands of emails (I believe they do) and if only 0.1% of people are clicking the infected link, in the end it is still big money for the bad guys.
You are right, those practices are disgusting. And what annoys me the most is it is always a very few guys that are doing the wrong things.
Most of the people involved in crypto are honnest, only a very few of them are not but their impact is huge.

i get pretty annoyed knowing there are so many scams which are making people believe this is some kind of scheme or fad that'll wear off
and i get worried when i associate current movements in market value with the dotcom bubble crash, i guess we're all afraid of losing our money overnight

I agree with what everyone has said so far. The crypto market is swarming with scammers and hackers. When you throw all the shoddy ICOs on top of it, a lot of crypto is really hostile to investors and enthusiasts. How can I convince other people to adopt when so many people get scammed out of funds? Not everyone is going to be a computer genius.

For me also scams annoy me the most. Some of the scams are so obvious and it’s clear people don’t do their research. It seems like in crypto anything goes, all the risk is on the buyer. I think only some sort of either regulation or consumer protection insurance scheme can help solve those issues

What worries or gives me trouble is the fact that myetherwallet cannot automatically add and load most new coins. I've signed up on multiple airdrops and bought ICO tokens and for each, i had to add a custom token.
This is not flexible. Can't they just automate this.

What worries me is the political fight over Bitcoins future and the scalability of blockchain. That could seriously put a halt on crypto's growth or even set the entire market back a few years. Hopefully we don't get to that point and we can continue to grow moving forward ;)

i agree with everyone above. Volatility of the market due to the amount of scams out there and the government regulations. Just the other day I saw someone offering to start your own ico for $95  >:(

Another thing would be the barrier to entry into the crypto world. I guess that can be a good or bad thing, but this needs to be easier so that it can be widely adopted.

i think i am worried if the price is down because if its down, i can not make profit as i want. beside of the security of each coins, we should give some attention to secure our account in the exchanges and not only for the wallets which is the places we use to keep our coins. but i think every dev for each coins will prevent this as they don't want their coins is getting hacked and also the exchanges will do the best that they can to give safety places for their members. so the thing that might be makes me worried is when the price is down.

What is worrisome for me in crypto currency is this issue of fork. The fact that anybody could just wake up and fork bitcoin into different coin or another chain is quite annoying. Bitcoin is doing fine and there is gradual acceptance of it all over the world. But people worries about duplications and what they think might be the outcome.

First the amount of scammers and hackers and almost as annoying is the number of useless ICO's that are once again there to scam somebody in a number of cases. Some knowing they will never come close to being anything of value.

I’m worried that the end of ICO will come because over used or abusing this kind of project by some/few scammers/developers. It is annoying to think that after all the trust that investors give for the project after investing they the team behind it gone and make a new scam again.

This can only be stop when we don’t support this kind of investment and started scammers thread.

Same here, all of us hates this scam thing, you are right, regulations or rules to follow before launching ICO may help to lessen and eventually eliminate all the scammers here.

The scams are going in almost every aspect of the life. In crypto it seems to be little easier. The real issue is greed. People want to invest a little without understanding the project or concept and hoping within a week that investment will get them a lambo.

Most annoying thing in cryptocurrencies? It is of course rejected or cancelled transactions because of fee! It catches me unguarded and I really hate it. There should be some automation mechanism that adds more fee.

Those scammers. They're the most annoying and what i worrying about. I receive several DM on my messages about their ongoing token sales. That's very suspicious because, why don't they post here so the public will be able to judge the project.? Also someone send me a phishing link. He almost got me. But it's not that serious because he just want to trace me. But he failed, because im using VPN. He can't trace what's my exact location. Anyway, be careful to those members here who just sending you some links. This is the reason why many accounts here are being stole.

Scammers now are already in the ICOs. So be careful what ICOs you want to join. Investigate their backgrounds to check if they are reputable ane trustworthy. Scam ICO gets millions of dollars from their investors everyday. That's why i can't blame other countries are now prohibit their citizens to participate in this kind of investment.

Scams, hackers and phishing are the most annoying. As crypto matures, these might ease off a bit... but at the same time, as the money in crypto increases it attracts more of these people.

I really worry about exchanges. Every years few exchanges are hacked or arrested. I am not sure if my trading balance is secure or not.
Thats my biggest worry.

That's a big issue, because those exchanges seems to be functioning with legitimacy and all of a sudden without any prior information ends or shuts. Another thing is the wallet services, lots and lots of wallet services get into existence and finally go away scamming huge funds of common users.

Like others, my main concern is the security flaws of crypto currencies. The way you can lose such a big amount of investment in just a blink of an eye because of these hackers taking advantage of the weaknesses of people and the system as it is.

But what really annoys me are the people that make worthless coins out of nowhere because of greed., Not saying that all of these new coins are wothless bullshit. But let's be honest here, most of them really are. But the worse part? It becomes easier for these people to make thses scam coins! They don't even have to put much effort into it because almost everything needed are already present.

But all in all, this is what makes crypto currencies more exciting and appealing to me. This thrill drives me to continue being in the crypto world.

im worried that there is some parties that able to shut down cryptocurrency. especially the goverment in the country that i live in.

I don't like that 6 years later, they are still in the shadows. The cryptocurrency legal need regulation otherwise they will not be taken seriously.

Really funny topic guys, all those answers about hackers were fun. On the Internet hacker are where money is, and I'm sure you all know where the anonymous money is, right?

So they only do their job. Many try a stupid new method asking directly people their private key, we are far away from Israeli virus ;)

The amount of hacking and scamming is most annoying. Something needs to be done about this, too many people have taken losses.

In the cprypto world there is no much security. You have to guide your account and be on the alert at all times because of scammers, hackers ,phishing emails and links . Computer virus and malware are every where which are really annoying .One has to be careful of sites on the web and also be wary of free downloads.

This exchange issues really are something makes us worried about. How do I trust any exchange, how do I get to know that the security of any exchange can't be breached? How will I know that a certain exchange is not going to be banned by any government? These are all the issues that I think everyone involved with the cryptocurrency must be thinking about.

The one that annoys me is that the crypto currency is being dragged or portrayed to be a scam or a Ponzi scheme activity to look out for. I am amazed to know that when I hardly to open the topic of crypto currency in our place they already wanted to stop the topic. This rumor mongering about crypto currency worries me a lot.

The biggest thing which irritates me in crypto it is a lot of ICO's and bigger then half a scam. It become really hard to find a good one ICO with interesting and promising project in this sea of scam ICO's. And I worry that some countrys start ban ICO, it makes me sad.

One thing that really bugs me are all the trolls giving false information. Most everyone is really helpful to new people, but there are people who purposely say wrong things in order to trip up newbies. Be careful and DYOR!

The thing which annoy me most is the price falling of coins when Bitcoin price increases. Or the currency which I bought start droping it's price.
I don't have any method or idea to stop this from happening.

The most worries i ever feel is when i see that my coins or tokens was saddenly dump specialy if it takes a few days already and still dumping that was i worry most in crypto
