it all depends on the model of your gpu and gpu mem should be greater than 1gb

Look at https://www.whattomine.com (https://www.whattomine.com) and if your card is listed there it should be able to assist you with an idea what your card can mine.  The information is out there which you can find through whattomine or through a search of google or this website. For future reference to help you get a better answer in this forum provide as much detail as you can.  What GPU, OS, CPU, PSU and RAM you are using.  The more information you provide the better an answer you will usually receive on the forum.  As always I would recommend whatever information you do receive make sure to do some of your own research especially when it comes to hashrates on cards.  With all the different brands and type there are many different ways to OC your cards to find what works best for you and your setting.

Not all GPU's are listed in whattomine, you could also mine at AMD RX560, 7970, or GTX970 even AMD Vega's is not listed, if your GPU has above 3GB mem, you can possibly do mining with it,though it may not as profitable compared to high end cards

Post a GPU-Z screenshot, members will tell you whether your equipment is suitable or not.

Frankly, unless you are a hardcore gamer, your GPU is not suitable for mining with a 95% probability.

If you have not the latest RX series from AMD, RX 4XX, 5XX or VEGA you can't mine properly with old models because of the energy consumption they make, in the AMD side old cards are power hungry and unless you have very cheap energy you cannot mine properly and be in profit. Same thing with NVIDIA although with Nvidia you can mine  since with GTX 750 ti and above but know that only latest 9 and 10 series are suitable to mine, 10 series are the best from Nvidia because they consume little energy and their hashrate is better than older series.

If you happen to have a RX 4xx or 5xx series from AMD, you can mine, if you have latest series from Nvidia you can mine. You can't mine for example with Nvidia GTX 590 as the power consumption is extreme and the hashrate is poor.

You CAN mine with older cards - and some of them are still profitable if you have low enough electric cost, like my R9 2xx and HD 77xx/78xx cards and my NVidia 9xx cards.

You do NOT need "the latest" to be able to mine properly - they're just less efficient and less likely to be profitable.

GTX 750ti (which is Maxwell generation like the 9xx series) is still one of the most efficient Monero GPU miners.

Download Winminer, install, start mining.  You can find out in about 5 mins......then go from there.

I loved winminer for 3 days but then I am waiting for more than 24 hours to receive payout, a total different thing compared to Nicehash which pays on time, every time so I switched back to Nicehash although much higher minimum payout. Here is a picture why I quit Winminer in just a very short time. I don't like waiting for my payouts.

What to mine only shows a very limited selection of cards - they have major space limits, it's not practical for them to show ALL currently profitable cards.

The cards they do show are intended to be a "representative sample" of widely used cards more than anything else.

Also, the figures they use for each card model are often OFF from actual production figures, depending on the specific card and the specific settings for the card - again, "representative sample" ballpark figures not YOUR actual numbers.
They DO let you put in your REAL numbers though fairly easily.
