Title: bfgminer Ubuntu 13 - Not detecting USB Erupter Post by: benzarod on June 11, 2013, 08:24:49 PM Does someone is having issues trying to setup USB erupter in Ubuntu 13?
I tried with bfgminer compiled with icarus support and did not detect the device. Also , I tried with cgminer 3.1.1 and 3.2.1. In cgminer the story is different, it discover the devices but after while show it as SICK state. On the same PC, I installed windows and everything goes nicely. But I hate Windows!! Ubuntu 13.04 + USB erupter +BFGMiner seems to not work. I can get BFGMiner running but it only detects my cpu and I can't seem to add "-S all" to the command line as it rejects command line arguments for some reason. What do you prefer? A mac? God, I hate those things! I bought 2 apple laptops both of them were broke after 2 years. |
