The speed of decentralized technology development in the cryptospace is moving in a very fast pace. I speculate that there will be no legal framework set that would be effective in regulating it in 10 years. Anyway, it would actually be better for Bitcoin not to be regulated at this time of its existence. I prefer that they regulate the issuance of ICOs as that is where most problems are...scam artists are now starting to have big parties because of ICOs. In terms of being a currency, Bitcoin is just an infant and we know that. It takes a lot of time for a currency to really mature...if any government agency would wait for it to mature before issuing the regulatory framework then that it no big deal. |
