I have been looking around but so far couldn't find any answer to my problem. I will soon receive my first Asic L3+. Unless I'm mistaken, you can only set it up when you are on the same local network, here comes my problem... I found a secured farm to plugged it in, only thing I cannot go there for security reason, so if I set it up at home then after the network won't be the same, as I am not really familiar yet with the antminer program, I assume this would be an issue regarding the settings, also how will I control the running after that ? Was looking about awesomeminer too but I cannot have any fix ip adress at home... Thanks in advance for the help even though it might look stupid when you know what to do! Title: Re: L3+ setup question Post by: quarl on October 30, 2017, 06:05:58 PM In fact when you don't have to worry about it you will just need to put a dynamic IP on a specific domain like mydns so no problem.
Your local network can be assigned to a fixed IP address to your home without disrupting the functioning of your ASIC. Most importantly I think and configure correctly the port you are going to assign in order to communicate externally with your machine. I think you can granted your access using Teamviewer VNC or anydesk with ssh access to encrypt your data. |
