I know everyone will say what a POS all the new alt coins are, but I try to grab a few of them just in case one might actually take off. On to megacoin. I downloaded the file from github and installed it. Started up and synced quickly. There is no pool that is working, that I can find. My question is, how do I GPU mine this Megacoin with CGminer. What do I connect to? What settings? Is there a tutorial for another coin that would apply to this one? Thank you in advance. I have around 10KH/s but generally i find nothing when solo mining and while pooling, payments stops after initial period. I'm trying to mine Megacoin and downloaded the latest updated version of the client. I tried the older version but both also CANNOT sync to the network. Anyone can help maybe to add extra ( addnodes ) IP address? I try to do solo mining but the Megacoin client doesn't have mining button like Litecoin client. Any idea? Thanks in advance. here is example : cgminer --gpu-reorder --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8000 --intensity 18 -w 256 -g 1 -v 1 --url stratum+tcp://megacoin.miningpool.co:3338 --userpass xide.1:x del *.bin pause i used cg miner this setting is good only for 5xxx /6xxx series you can use gui miner srypth and there are setting for almost every graphic cards if you need help PM me |
