Title: Buying 20 btc [CLOSED]
Post by: mukundh3 on June 12, 2013, 08:46:37 AM
Interested in buying around 1,25k worth of btc. I live in pune, and i have the money in cash, so would be ready to do a cash deposit or a face to face transaction. Can provide my pan card, but not interested in doing a bank transfer or neft at the moment. Also, please tell me your offers, but for a transaction this big i am really only looking at mtgox avg trading rate for my exchange. Please let me know, thanks :)

Great to see you here :)

With buysellbitco.in we accept only NEFT and with PAN card for large transactions, so our services may not be suitable to your requirement at the moment.

I can surely recommend PinWheel for such transactions. Have done lot of business with PinWheel.

Cheers

Doing a transaction this size would definitely help me clear my name and get some recognition to KROGYAN (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=176877.msg1841315#msg1841315).

I m from kolkata, I ll provide my PAN and Bank details.

I'll give you similar rates of what you are asking.

I wont risk my own money into this but would definitely like to talk about it in PM if you would.

So you would be interested in cash deposit? Sure man pm me, would love to talk about it.

And pinwheel, can you give me some time to get back to you? Your's would definately be most convenient, but i have a guy in bombay ready to do a deal at market rate. Travel will be a real pain in the arse though

I would advice Pinwheel if in Bombay or Pune, he is reliable and can maintain stock.

Thinking about doing a transaction with axorb, but he wants me to go first. Is it generally a safe thing to do or is it advisable to use a middleman or escrow?

Well use MM/escrow, better for both parties.

I have recieved multiple offers for gox last rate +5%, please let me know if anyone can offer me anything better. Also, for cash deposit i am interested in using a middleman. Eager to do the trade as soon as possible. One more thing, can a cash deposit of 1 lakh be done in a single go? I have only deposited amounts of 20,000 before.

For cash more than 50,000/- you are required to give photocopy of your pan card.More than 5 lacs it is always reported to IT authorities & you are likely to get query.
More than 10 lacs it is again reported through CTR(Cash transaction report) to the vigilance department of IT.This limit is per day & even if you deposited by several slips the amount is consolidated automatically & reported to IT authorities. In case of inquiry you will have to justify the source of cash received otherwise it will be treated as your income & income tax will be levied with penalty & your earlier returns are also subject to scrutiny.

Also For depositing this much cash you should have your PAN number updated in your bank account.
If you fail to do so, the bank will cut TDS on the interest that you will gain in excess of Rs 10,000.

All of above is dealing with deposit in savings account :)

As far as cash deposit and cash transactions concerns please consider below points :
1. As per IT regulations FOR ANY CASH TRANSACTION THE LIMIT IS RS.20000/- PER DAY U/S 40A OF INCOME TAX ACT, RULE 6D OF INCOME TAX RULES.
2. The receiver party may have to pay some charge to accept cash deposits above 25,000 INR ( or 50,000 INR in some banks ) for accepting at remote branch.

I hope above will help :)

Cheers

Any deposit over 49k requires you to carry your original Pan card along with a photocopy of it.

he can deposit cash to his bank account and then buy btc by making transfer

also you can ask seller to show bitcoin address where he has necessary amount of bitcoins. then ask him to use escrow and offer him that you will pay for escrow. If he is not agree to use escrow, he is trying to scam you. Reasonable seller will never refuse to use escrow especially if it is your first deal.

Here you can use reputed escrows on forum who escrow-ed millions of dollars deals, or ask Benson for escrow. How it work? Ask seller to send bitcoins to Benson. Once Benson will acknowledge that bitcoins in correct amount been received, you can make bank transfer to seller account. Once seller will receive money, he will give instructions to Benson to send bitcoins to you. As you can see escrow good for both for protection of seller and buyer. If seller asking you to send money first, HE IS TRYING TO SCAM you. Stay away from such deals.

Assuming here:
IF the seller wanted to involve the self deposits to his bank account, wont he buy directly from gox and btc-e ?
