Title: Bitmain Antminer - customs clearance problems
Post by: daft72 on October 27, 2017, 06:53:16 PM
Hello ,

I'm looking for some help considering my order.
The order arrived in Poland but DHL needs "Declaration of conformity" for CE Marking.
I need it for Antminer D3 and APW3++ .

I wrote to bitmain but 3 days passed and no answer, and time is money when it comes to mining.

Anyone can help?

sounds like DHL is waiting on the Polish customs to sign it. Maybe they don't work weekends.

DHL wants the Declaration of conformity from me, plus ton of other papers that I already provided.
I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem , and that Bitmain doesnt support this paper on their website..

Hi guys,

I am planing to import Bitmain equipment to Poland.
How it is going with your problems? Was you able to resolve them?
I can see that Bitmain published CE certificates some time ago.

What was the amount of tax duties that you paid with DHL?

Thank you

Hi to all.
We bought APW3++ PSU.
But EU customs service, doesn't want to release our order, they asked for:
1. RoHS 2011/65/EU TEST REPORT

2. RoHS 2011/65/EU Conformity Certificate

Do you know, where I can get this documents if it possible, or what I can do with it.

The problem with declarations of conformity has become massive in Poland. But why just in this country of the European Union ???
At the moment I am required four declarations:
2014/30 / EU available at Bitmain
2014/35 / EU available at Bitmain
2011/65 / EU - not available
2009/125 / EU - not available
Guys how did you solve this problem?

How did you get it, sent a letter to their support with a request to send the certificates? Are they somewhere free and available for download?

Bitmain have a subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/BITMAIN/

Perhaps post about your problems on there and see what people have to say?

In future, it might be easier to buy a second-hand miner from someone already in europe, rather than deal with customs for new miners.

The same here in Estonia.

Customs officer said that I'm not the first one trying to import Bitmain equipment, everyone before me failed to provide RoHS 2011/65/EU TEST REPORT.

I contacted Bitmain customer support, their response was "Sorry we don't have RoHS, these are all we have."

I have the same problem. Cumoms clearance in Poland. :-\ ???
DHL doesn´t even want to try it. Now I got a different company to do it for me.
Looks bad as far as they know. The new company said it´s possible to pass. Maybe they just want to make money, so they are promissing  ;D

One need to add stickers on the miner because Bitmain is not able to do it correctly. With company name, and address, and Made in China. They also leak a proper instruction in Polish language.
(Hopefully nobody asks for RoHS because this is what they definitely don´t have and one can´t just make it themselves)
So I need a certificate that authorizes one to make changes to their shipped box (adding stickers and manual).
I thought its easy to get  :)
I wrote Bitmain several times. I always get the same answer all our certificates are here and a link...grrr. I offered them to use the polish manual  that i translated and add it to there next shipments. But they seem to not understand what I am saying to them. >:(
It is horrible.  :'(
For custom clearance I need now a permission from Bitmain to add this stickers and the manual to there shipment. But after trying 3 time with different customer support persons it seems to be hopeless.

Does anyone have such a certificate that authorizes one to make changes to their shipped box (adding stickers and manual) ?

I will keep reporting what happened.

My struggle with the Polish customs was stopped by failure. In the last letter they wrote that the product does not declare the requirements and may be dangerous to others. The only option they offered was to return to China. DHL behaves passively and in every way only delays the process. >:(

Same problem in Estonia as well, just got contacted regarding it.

I replied to DHL with this link that has all certificates and waiting for the reply.

Guys in Estonia, did anyone of you check if we'll get a refund if the parcel is sent back to Bitmain ?

You will get reply, that you need send them RoHS 2011/65/EU nõuetele vastavust tõendav katseprotokoll (test report). It doesn't exist. DHL will offer to return parcel back and pay for the shipment to China. China will ask you to pay import fees for parcels and you will not get refund.

DHL replied that Tehnilise järelvalve Amet does not allow these products in Estonia.

They didn't ask for any document, do you think it would help if I contact Tehnilise järelvalve Amet directly and provide them with the documents ?

Also did you get any reply from Bitmain saying that they don't allow a refund ?

You can try, but nothing helps. TJA needs RoHS 2011/65/EU TEST REPORT. None has it. It doesn't exist.
Bitmain said when you placed an order, you agreed with no refund.

Amr-haraba@hotmail.com

I just called Tehnilise järelvalve Amet and they said that they received an update about this today morning and the agent told me to contact him later on in the evening.

He said most probably the Antminer issue will be solved, however the power supply still doesn't have this ROHS document and most probably will have to be returned back.

Advised me to call him back in about 5 hours after he goes through the update they received this morning
