It's still pretty easy to solomine testnet Bitcoins at the moment, but there are a lot of individuals who feel more comfortable pool mining for a number of reasons. (Fancy graphs and statistics?)

Much less set up a pool?

there were 100+ blocks found this hour (in testnet). maybe needs coins for testing and mining them is safer then visiting faucets. on the other hand, 2 or 3 worked so I'm not in need for mining anymore, just will practice that as hobby |
