Title: Combining of Capabilities for Alt Coin Post by: worldinacoin on June 12, 2013, 01:36:07 PM Just wondering, there are tons of new coins out there, more coming out and die as soon as they come out. Why not the few of you who are good at alt-coins join forces and produce a truly unique coin to compete with Bitcoin and Litecoin rather than build coins that can last a month.

To ensure that the coin isn't misused as a pump and dump currency I released it as testnet-only to give us a place to integrate some of the better features of the more popular alts and mine it without having the responsibility of maintaining a "production" blockchain.
