As a new user, can I start using Bitcoin without having to understand the technical details?

It's not so hard to understand how bitcoin works. What do you want to use it for?

In order to use bitcoins you do not need to understand the technical aspects. But I think curiosity would win. You will learn to be confident in the rightness of their choice. Now if you have a small amount of coins you can store them in the wallet and watch as they grow in price. Can at any time to exchange their coins for Fiat and spend on your goals. The choice is yours.

Yes you can. It's easy to download a wallet and register on a Bitcoin exchange without having knowledge about Bitcoin's technical details.

bitcoin is a new thing for me, I am new to bitcoin.
therefore i ask.
as a beginner .. of course I am a bit confused with the bitcoin system.
and of course I want to have a good plan with bitcoin when I get it later.

All that you need to understand is:

-The importance of keeping your private keys safe (as they give you the right to spend your coins);
-What wallets to use (https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet) in order to keep the keys safe (for a moderately user friendly experience, try a software wallet like Electrum or hardware wallet like TREZOR - for smaller amounts you could decide to use a phone wallet);
-The transaction fees (http://bitcoinfees.21.co/) that you need to include in your transactions (a good wallet will have good automatic fee estimation, but often you need to understand how long it may take for your transaction to confirm);
-Which merchants you can spend BTC at (https://spendabit.co/); and
-How confirmations work.

After that, I'd say you can pretty much use it and not screw anything up.  Always make sure you're sending to the right address - BTC transactions are non-reversible.

You can use bitcoin with out understanding the technical details. But it is better to have some fundamentals how bitcoin works you can search here there is a lot of information here about bitcoin that you can use as reference to understand bitcoin technically.

if you just want to invest in bitcoin, I think you are quite silent and sit looking at investment up or down. and you do not need to understand the technical details,
but if you want to trade, or join bitcointalk, I think you have an obligation to understand the technical details, because without it you incur losses in each of your trading and will get a hard rebuke from the moderator when playing bitcointalk.

you can start using it without understanding, but it's better to learn some basic things

if you start by investing you do not need to understand the technical details, you just sit and check every bitcoin fluctuation. then you take when you get a profit. and hold when bitcoin prices below.
but at least you know basically how technical details are about investing in bitcoin.

yes you can but much better to have knowledge about crypto currency.  as a newbie put some time to read here in forum to gain more information.. Cause the more you learn the more you earn.

As you use bitcoin regurly, you’ll learn everything about it. I also started without any knowledge, but as time goes by, and as I use bitcoin regulary, I learned the basics and so. I also started to do researches regarding cryptocurrency. But I suggest atleast try to understand first what bitcoin really is and how does it work.

yes you can but i suggest to learn first.  Put some time to read here in forum to gain more knowledge . Or do some research about crytpo currency in the internet  to gain some knowledge also.  Effort is the must mate.  As the others said the more you learn the more you earn.

It's not very hard at all to use Bitcoin, it does get technical once you try to mine or run a node, which isn't really for the standard user anyways but you can utilize Bitcoin casually without a problem and new companies are making it extra easy user friendly.

as a noob a few years back, I jumped right in. I didn't know much then, and I still dont know much now. However, the basics were very easy to grasp and I have been hooked ever since. Going as far as earning a side income from my activities here. Op, nothing to worry about, If you are using it for basic send and receiving funds, you are good to go. Just be sure to secure your wallet and keep safe.

No, you can't understand bitcoin if you don't have technical details. As a new user, most of you guys are thinking about bitcoin is a good investment because of the price of it is really competitive and encouraging to get into bitcoin. But my advice is you have to know what you are trying to use. We can understand easily that buying bitcoin, holding it, forgetting it for years and get back to it when the price is too high but it's still better for you to know the technical details about bitcoin.

You can use bitcoin without having to understand it, but you will have trouble if there is something with bitcoin, like halving, fork, double spend, and so on. you should learn while using bitcoin. So you can understand about bitcoin  ;)

It's not good to start using bitcoin without any knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. You should have a least a minimum knowledge about that, So i advise you to learn some articals in the internet and then you can use safly your bitcoin without any problems. Good luck for you.

I think you can use it without understanding but you will have a limitation in what you can use. Its better to have knowledge about bitcoin and about cryptocurrency as a whole. No never the reason is
1.You can all messed up things and lost your bitcoins by sending to any unknown address.
2.There are lots of scams going on with bitcoin you may be the target of them as you donot have knowledge.
3.1st you have to understand the basic of bitcoins and then you have to understand how to protect your bit coin and you computer safe.

Or else trust me 100/100 time you get hacked/scammed for sure.

 

Bitcoin is a currency and everyone has the right to use currency, I think very soon when bitcoin will become so much popular then even the illiterate will learn how to use bitcoin. In fact it is the need of the time and when time will come everyone will be the using it as a normanl currency.

Well, yes you can use it because its system is not that hard to understand. You can use it like how you would use your money. Invest, sell, trade and etc. But I think having the knowledge even if its a very small detail about bitcoin is worth having when you really want to put your time trying to get profit. Most people here are using bitcoin in order for them to get more profit by investing and trading. Just be disciplined and try making plans if you are diving into bitcoin world. Hope you the best. it's very very possible without having to understand bitcoin more detail first, you just invest and understand it with over time when you can while learning to understand bitcoin, I think to understand bitcoin is easy and not difficult,
early I bought bitcoin I also do not really understand about bitcoin and now I've pretty understand about bitcoin.

It seems to me that you are exaggerating the possibilities of bitcoin as a currency. High what term can be applied to bitcoin is that it is tender. What to spend bitcoins on goods must first change it to Fiat creates problems especially for beginners. It seems to me that this feature deters many potential users of bitcoin.

Being newbie to bitcoin is not that scary anymore because many are already using it and its easy to gain information from social media as well as joining in this forum. It would be more advantageous if you keep yourself updated about cryptocurrencies and its latest exchange so you can work on your olan of approach wether to keep it in your wallet or invest it.

It's not so hard to understand what is bitcoin and how bitcoin works. Just figure out why are you interested in bitcoin then use google, ask in forums and prepare yourself accordingly.

You'll eventually learn from time to time by reading forums and the purpose and use of bitcoins, like how you can earn bitcoin how you use bitcoins, how bitcoin differs from other currency. Well your the same as me I am still learning all right but we know we can get these, just trust the process.

IMO, you can start using Bitcoin without knowing the in-depth technical knowledge. But you have to know about the basic such as how Bitcoin works, generating Bitcoin wallets, transferring Bitcoin and etc.

While you stay in this forum, you can learn more about Bitcoin technical knowledge bits by bits.

to be involved in bitcoin is not as difficult as you think. you can start to use bitcoin without the technical details. as newbie, you have to read more and more about this forum to avoid you from being banned or other bad things happen.

Yes you can use it for sure. The only basic things​ that you need  right now is on how to send and receive, and which is very  easy. Also there are wallets out there that has some fancy GUI and so very user friendly, for sure you will know how to use them. Next about the technical details, you will learn them eventually because you will be forced to understand them. Like some technical details about backing up wallets and restoring them, you need to understand the differences between BIP39, BIP32, and BIP44 to be able to transfer your address in different wallet. Some technical details about mining, fees, block rewards, forks etc. also are some things that you will learn too as you use bitcoin eventually.

If you does not know about the bitcoin and other coins in online you will not be able to make the posts in the forum or you cannot invest your money in any bitcoin related earning platform.
Please check the Youtube videos and article available in online which provides complete information about the bitcoin and their investment options. Check the begginers and help section to gather more information for the newbies.

Yes you can use bitcoin without the understanding of technical details. If you want to use bitcoin just download your local wallet on your gadget. It is easy to use for example sending bitcoin to other or using if you want to buy any items on the internet that accept cryto-currency. bitcoin is online money or online atm that you can use on the internet.

Its not hard, believe me few weeks ago I was a complete noob, now I feel I am good in the bitcoin world. You should be all good in few weeks.

You don't need to know deep technical details but you must know the basics. You need to know how to transact and the fees associated with it. Need to know some stuffs about the wallet and to secure them and how to keep backup of your wallets. Tons of tutorials out there. Just google it and look for a simple version of the guide. Yes you can. After you use the bitcoin you will still get learned. But, it is still better to know the bitcoin before you use it even just the basics one. So if you encounter a problem regarding on using it you still know what you need to do. Besides, bitcoin is not hard to understand.

So you must need to learn first are the basic of it, a good wallet that is secured and be careful enough to avoid scam sites and harmful applications to your devices. A good wallet is subjective to each one but better provide hardware wallet if you can afford.

Go ahead, You can use it.you don't really need under stand first or to master the technical details. As long as you know how to access or navigate your block chain wallet to store your bitcoin or to send payment for your purchase. later on in process , you will learn how bitcoin process works including technical details little by little.

Yes you need to have some knowledge or study, and you need to read it in forum about bitcoin and also trading altcoin. because when you start investing in bitcoin then the next is you will also invest in altcoin. So you need to know the situation or status of every coins if it's nice or this is scam. because not all in trading will give them a profit, there are also sold their coins that they were losing or non-profit.

But the thing is, that would be the dumbest investment that an investor can ever do. To not understand the thing that he or she is investing his or ger money at.
I believe that one should understand butcoins thoroughly to gain or maximize any profit. And i thnk that goes for every investment. Because without understanding of what you are doing, you cannot give your best. Which in return won't let you recieve what's best. You are still able to use Bitcoin without knowledge about it but it's really hard to earn Bitcoin if you don't know anything about Bitcoin. Don’t worry about the technical details if you are casual user of the bitcoin and crypto community. Even when I started with bitcoin I just new that it’s used in the same way as local currency of our nation. The only difference is it’s online and over the internet. But ask me, you will get to know all the technical and non technical details automatically once you start earning with it. The process is very unconscious and with your journey you will have to learn many things about it.

Im also new user of bitcoin, when i first use it, i its seem hard to understand at first but later on i understand a little bit of how it work. And i make some research about how signature campaign and investment works, and also i ask some little help of my friend who also user of bitcoin, little by little i learned and have some knowledge of it.

I think almost everyone of us started with almost zero knowledge in bitcoin and cryptocurrency. But as we go along the way, we learn a few things and more. There is no limit in learning and even the members here with the highest of ranks, they also learn a thing or two about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. We can always add more information to what we already know by using the forum. There are hidden gems here and who knows, we might just find the biggest one.

No, Don't do never that! A bitcoin is something precious is like gold, more than a coin is an investment. It has been targeted several world powers, does not this give you an idea of its potential? First you must inform yourself, read its withe paper, learn about others crytos, you must be very attentive of its price, but above all about news that may affect its price. Later this will help you multiply it you will know when it is time to sell or buy.

you cant start without understanding. It is not that hard. But you did not understand fast time, but later you will not be able to. False will come bad. For me its a no, it makes difficult for you  in doing bitcoin if you do not understand first what is bitcoin or what is bitcoin all about. Learn some details of  bitcoin, and rules of it, as much as possible read a lot about bitcoin and how bitcoin works, if you do this i can assure you that it makes easy for
you earn and save in bitcoin. A new user should always start in bottom for a better result.

You dont need to know all the technical details as long as you secure your private keys and know what things you should do here and if you have some concerns about then you could look at it since no one is stopping you. There are threads related to your questions and we have youtubes and articles by the way

There is no such technical or high knowledge is required for new users as all the things are there available on net also just start your online business through bitcoins no such details necessary

Yes you can start Bitcoin without  such technical knowledge.but if you want stay for long term in the crypto world then it's important to you have good technical knowledge about the crypto world.and if you want to get more knowledge about btc then I suggests you to read Bitcoin forum and cryptonews everyday.beacause by doing this you get the sufficient knowledge about the btc.

of course you can use bitcoin free if you have a PC/ smartphone to access your wallet, email to register online wallet or you can use offline wallet and of course an internet access, id you have all of that required you can use bitcoin free

Better start with some basic knowledge of bitcoin and get more deeper into it as you go by.  This will enrich your quality and strengthen your foundation here.  Always a speaker or a writer with strong information on the subject he talks or writes are more looked upon, welcomed,  admired,  appreciated and expected in the market. If you want to buy a lot, then you need to understand how to create and use an offline wallet, which gets more complicated.

If you frequently open bitcointalk forum, I guess you will be understand about bitcoin and technicalities of bicoin. Because what i understand in this forum, all about bitcoin is available. It just our desire to read and learn it.

Anyway it is better if you gonna posts something in Beginners Section where you can find proper posting and content details and learn here on this forum all about bitcoins.

It is hard to start without any background knowledge about something. So it is better for you to acquire more information so that you will be prepared. Your knowledge will be your weapon to enter that world you want to explore like bitcoin world.

As new user, your main job is to know bitcoin well. And work slowly. Then you can make many improvements. Just do not want to earn bitcoin to learn more. Be patient and work more and know more about bitcoin. You can get a lot of things in Bitcoin that you have never ever through about. Yes, you can. I'm the same as you. You don't need to know the boring techniques. If you like bitcoin, if you want to keep it, you need to trade, it's easy to go to the stock exchange.

Even little kids are able to understand how bitcoin works and how it's able to get them more money. One does not need an in depth knowledge about how bitcoins works in order to start using it. Just the basics and you are good to go.

For new bitcoin users I think you should know and learn bitcoin, everything need a process otherwise  will have difficulty using it and it will be dangerous if you do not know at all about bitcoin, I suggest learn bitcoin and much to read about bitcoin.

You can't trade without knowledge with altcoins but with BTC, of course, you can. The rule of BTC is "buy and forget". After 5 years, you sell it and get million dollars. :v

Well ofcourse , most of us here didnt understand at first on how to use Bitcoin, but our technology today will give us a full view on the basics. Researching is never too hard for us this days. Just like me when I asked myself whether its ok withouth having a knowledge using bitcoin, and I didnt quit researching till I somehow understand the basic. I guarantee you'll learn how to multiply your Bitcoin in not more than 1 year.

Think of it as money then you're good to go. But, with money, in order to make it many, you have to invest it. The tricky part of bitcoins is having to invest it properly. That's what you need to study. Learn how to speculate and read the trends of bitcoins in order to make good profits. Other than that, bitcoins are fairly easy to understand.

For a new user of bitcoin it is very much important to know all the details about the trading and investment complications so it will be dangerous for a new user to start trading from the first day I recommend him to start his journey from participation in signature campaigns and slowly and gradually after getting the basic knowledge of bit coin trading and other essential things he may start investment in bitcoin

I was browsing and saw this post. I think that's why there is this kind of forum. That way, you will have knowledge and understanding of how the bitcoin works. That's what I am actually doing before engaging in bitcoin business.

A lot of help can be found on Youtube, but if you are struggling with a particular problem then immediately write to this forum. There are many experienced users who help.

You can hire IT specialists to implement the technical part, for that you don't need to be an expert in this area. So if you have a good business idea, don't worry about the technical knowledge at first. There are people who can do it for you.
