Title: 1 Year Anniversary @bitcointalk, $600+ to $6000+
Post by: jekjekman on October 28, 2017, 11:04:24 AM
I just like to post my 1 year anniversary in Bitcointalk.org and share my experience after a year.

As far as I remember I first discovered Bitcoin because I did some online task in a website that is paying a very small amount of $ and I am earning a small amount of cents on it back then and one day they announced that they are thinking to pay the workers with Bitcoin if a large portion of us agrees to it as a payment in the future payouts and that is the day that I got curious in what is Bitcoin all about.

At first I am so innocent in what is this digital online currency is all about and I am shocked to its value back then, it was $635 per 1 Bitcoin when I saw it. And I searched it over and over again until I understand what it is and how to use it as a currency and guess what it was very hard to understand it because most of the terms that is being use is not familiar with my vocabulary like cryptocurrency, cryptography, Bitcoin address, Bitcoin wallet, etc.

I got so interested with Bitcoin since I knew it and until now I still have a lot to learn about it and every single day of my life is almost into it. The value of it now while I am typing this is $5,738.06 and it already break $6,100 price last week, Bitcoin is always make me interested day by day because of its price and the growth of it in just a short period of time as everything can really happens in an instant.

Feel free to share your Bitcoin experience here at my thread if you want.

I would surely write again a post just like this with my 2nd year anniversary next year  ;)

Congratulations! I can see that you are participating in a high-quality signature campaigns, so things have gone well for you as well as you have been writing good posts for this forum, otherwise you wouldn’t have been accepted.

I have only been two months in the forum, I had heard of bitcoin before but it seemed something strange for me and it was linked to the Mt. Gox scandal in my mind so I wasn’t paying much attention to it until last summer when I decided to do some research about it and ended up here.

At the end of December it will be my 2 year anniversary after i joined bitcointalk.org.
I remember the time when i joined, the bitcoin price was around 450 USD.This is insane growth for only
2 years.I regret  that i didn`t join the bitcoin community 3 or 4 years ago,i knew about bitcoin back then, but
i thought it was something shady and too complicated to understand with all the minning pools, blockchain and geeky stuff.

Bitcoin always keeps me interested day by day because if the price and its growth is only in a short time it can really happen in a moment, because I now know it and until now I still have a lot to learn about it and every day of my life almost get there, the current value as I typed this is $ 5,737.05 and has already broken the $ 6,200 price last week,

It was amazing to make me even more diligent to find Bitcoin.

I think it's one of the regrets that we have. Hoping that we have known this community earlier. But evererything has a perfect timing. Still I am thankful that I have joined this community and I am already earning for living. It was really hard at first and I was quite lazy to join. But as soon as I engaged here, it is now continuous. I'm very inspired to work cause I have goals.

I have been following bitcoin for years but only had money recently to invest. Never really cared about making an account on this forum. I already made over 100% in the last few months with Bitcoin, and I'm bullish long term (Yes I am one of those that think Fiat is really going to be some shit currency that exists alongside Bitcoin/crypto)

I think we're going to come back to this post in a few years and laugh that the price was only $6k right now.

interesting post, i wish i did that all these years. i could have had 3 topics and the first one would have had a nice twist in it because when i started using bitcoin back in 2014 price was about $500 and my 1 year anniversary would have been nearly by the time price fell down to $200 and by that time i was on a buying frenzy disregarding everything that everyone such as Kuwakduck said about bitcoin dying. and each year ever since i am seeing the price go up at least 2x the previous value and i have not yet stopped buying.

The thing is you need to look at a full history chart of the price of Bitcoin to really understand what is going on. If you only look at the past 2 months then you will only see what looks like a good investment opportunity, but in reality when you zoom out to an all-time price graph you will notice we are in an exponential bubble, which means the price is actually bound to crash at some point in the near future.

That's true, I've also known bitcoin since last year, and I am also earning small bitcoin but I am really grateful to earn small amount that time. But I also regret the time that I sell it immediately and never thought that bitcoin price will reach until over $6000 which is, if only I save some of those cents, maybe I earn a lot of bitcoin right now. Well, those are already done and make some bitcoin today! I think it is still not late.

What a journey man!!!. Truly bitcoin has been a blessing for almost all of us and glad that we have found it one thing or another. We may have different ways to how we managed to find bitcoin, but once we did, we never even bother to lose our site on it. I'm been on a roller coaster ride with bitcoin as well, however, I just decided to stick to it more than ever because I see a lot of potential and I have tried to maximized every opportunity to earn because the future of bitcoin is looking great and bright. I'm sure that when you 2nd anniversary arrived, bitcoin price is already doubled or even tripled. Lets all enjoy this ride and I'm sure everyone will have a long and lasting experienced.

Amazing journey. I got in at $2,200 before the hardfork for bitcoin cash. I had known about bitcoin in previous years, but dismissed it as a Ponzi. However, its use will increase over the years. I hope we all benefit greatly from the bitcoin price in the future. If only I had got in at $600. Argghhh. Oh well. I'm still up a lot. Lol.

I'm sure many holders regret not buying at this time last year. I certainly do. I started collecting using faucets but now do trading and lending on Bitfinex. I do buy using spare fiat as I believe bitcoin will continue to rise but I do not believe the rate of increase will be as high.

Quite a miracle isn't it? Looking up at the price a year ago and now makes it look like some kind of company share that just made 1000% profit which is a huge feat considering the current market scenarios. Trust me I had no idea of the potential when I joined the forum around 4 years back but then I slowly started to realise how much of an impact Bitcoin has had over the years.

This are the users that make Bitcointalk continue to grow and give news abot how they have been doing since they started around! I think bitcointalk should create a subforum stating how the users are performing in Bitcointalk, how users are earning their BTC, stories that make newcomers also believe that they might not be late in BTC, and that this would help them gain financial sustainability.
Congrats for your 1st year, and hope to see you around in the coming years.

Dear OP, it was your luck however from me I thought something Bitcoin and it is not useful for me, then left the forum for a year. In the last month Ive heard in other forums that people are making good amount form Signature campaigns, however I was in all debts and now am clearing everything.

I think you are making decent amount from Signature campaigns and other methods as me too and looking to change my life in next few months.

If I took curiosity about the first level, then I would be creating a lot of money from Bitcoin and other resources.

Hello, If this is your first anniversary, then this is my bitcoin birth(day). My first day registered here, my first post, if the price of bitcoin has increased ten times in the past year, do you think it will increase at that rate going into the future? I am going to bookmark this post and check back here in exactly 1 year to see how things work out. Wish me luck.

This is just another proof how you can't never know exactly with Bitcoin and make exact predictions, it can always surprise us. And also it shows us that Bitcoin is still still the best long term investment. Who can tell now what the price will be in one year from now but I'm sure we will all profit.
