Depends on the site, but some have very high traffic and thus "good money."

The fact that gambling is a negative expectation game then I can't see why not. As long as there is always any percentage of house edge these guys(or gals) are cleaning up.  8)

Does the owner of the website know how to capitalize on a game with odds stacked in their favor is the bigger question...

They definitely make money there is a house edge, even if that edge is small they grind out a percentage of the volume wagered over time.
