Title: The next Ethereum pump
Post by: DevelopmentBank on October 29, 2017, 09:41:43 AM
I was really expecting an Ethereum pump with the latest release of the Byzantium-Metropolis update.
Although sadly, the pump did not last much because I feel this wonderful and amazing upgrade was slightly overshadowed by the Bitcoin price surge.

Do you guys know of any other new ETH updates that we can look forward to?

the price of ethereum depend of popularity of ICO because it's the only use case for now!

this days people don't invest much money in ICO because scams and low ROI, so i don't expect ethereum pumping in the near future!

I think after bitcoin hard fork, we will have seen ETH huge jump.

Ethereum will definitely grow in time, but I assume it won't be a steep rise. So if you're waiting for a pump, you'd better invest you money in some new coins, as they have much more chances to be pumped. The higher the price and volume of a token the more difficult to pump it.

I don't know if ETH price could rise just like how bitcoin did, because most of the ICOs now are using ETH. And lots of scams are going on that's why the people who's investing on ETH are getting smaller because of this.

Wouldn't ICOs using ETH push up the demand for ETH? - not sure how it ICOs only using ETH would make prices lower

There is a rumor that the transition to POS will begin this winter.
It is expected to rise at that timing.

Nope, There are no any update about the ethereum bump since we did not find the adoption in ethereum based smart contracts recent days we need a ethereum value to reach top.
Like segwit activation on last time ethereum segwit separation on eth. When the time bitcoin value bumps to 6k USD that all the altcoins dumps in the difficulty chart.

when an altcoin is already pumped and its price is in a big bubble you can not expect any significant pump out of it. the only things you will see is small rises due to some FOMO buying which only lasts a short time because of  the already existing bubble and the fact that there are many bag-holders waiting to dump their coins at the smallest rise.

in my opinion ETH has to fall significantly first to be able to pick up and have any meaningful pump.

If they're scams, as mentioned, then people will be weary of investing in future and ICOs will raise less money, it is certainly a trend recently that ICOs are not raising as much as they were previously.

Ethereum will stay around its current value for the next few months. NExt year it will go to max 500. High value ETH is not in the best interest of ETH and ico's.

I am not sure but think that we will not see huge pump or dump. Now ETH is stable like a dollar in the crypto world.
