Title: mtgox USD price spike - what happened? Post by: Flappy on June 27, 2011, 07:46:19 PM Price just spiked from 17 down to 15 momentarily. I had a buy order at 16.27 which did not get executed. With current buy orders, $400k would have to move for price to drop that far. What happened?

As to the dark pool, I thought those weren't supposed to be shown on the data as well as not influencing the market price. ???

Dark pool orders do not appear on the order book, bit the trade does show as a normal trade if it goes through. |
