bitcoin all time high... dont know when it last for this this 2 week btc price is crazy!!!

A lot of people are selling their free Bitcoin Gold and they are looking to buy some more BTC. The demand for BTC is on the increase, because a lot of investors lost faith in these forked coins. The positive rumours that the Chinese government is going to back off for a while, are also pushing a demand for BTC now.

The upcoming fork in November is the only thing pushing the Bitcoin price down, due to the uncertainty it brings. ^sad^

so for your opinion it's a temporary spike only...

One can't justify the reasons for it to be too high. The question is will it sustain?

I hope that it can sustain the current price or increase more before the end of the year.

The bitcoin price has hit 6.3k usd, a few more hours will go into november I'm sure the bitcoin price will continue to rise, probably to close at 6.5k usd in the middle of the night. idk, let's see.

I do not believe that selling bitcoin gold may in some way affect the price of bitcoin. it seems to me that bitcoin gold need to keep a few years to find out his future. Remember how the rising price of bitcoin. As for the upcoming separation segwit2x I can't share your optimism. It seems to me that it may have a negative impact on the bitcoin price and we are waiting for the price to fall.

Its now raking time for those that still have some free coins from the hard forks, they are now selking it since the community are those coins as coins for trading only. No idea on how long the price of bitcoin will be staying in its new ATH. But whats good in here is that we got now new floor price.

We already hit $6300 value back then the last time a hard fork occur and I think it is because of the recent buy and sell of bitcoin gold to bitcoin and right now I think we are seeing another imitation of the price back then, and right now there are another hard fork on the horizon I think many are buying again and expecting another price increase, well that is just my opinion and the thing is this fork is not like the last time and segwit2x is doing this to now upgrade the system of bitcoin, lets just hope it can become a great help for bitcoin and we can benefit to it,

As far as I understand will not be updating the system and we will see the emergence of a new coin. Bitcoin will break away from another shard. How long bitcoin can resist the division without consequences? No one knows if even to say I'm afraid of these events. It seems to me that modernization of bitcoin would be more acceptable than fission.

I really hope segwit 2x fork can finish well (in peace, not messy). If so, we are targeting 10k easily. If not, then I think bitcoin is going to see a long winter just like it did in 2014~2015.

I think bitcoin price will go above $6500, btw we've hit another all time high $6420(bitstamp). i'm waiting for a dip to buy some more bits. ::)

The new all time high is 6400 USD! It was reached several hours ago. This is indeed crazy. Bitcoin reaching so much heights within just a small amount of time. I just hope that Bitcoin will start a stable price growth. Also, I hope that there will be no drama about the B2X hardfork. It might cause a downtrend but hey, I think 7000 is a piece of cake after the fork ;)

Yes this is incredible, i just woke up and i saw that the price was over $6450, and it was like a crazy situation, and i am so glad that it was able to buy bitcoin before it was $1500, i am going to sell them soon, anyway, i really trust in bitcoin and i always knew that it was going to reach more than six thousand dollars as soon as possible.
I still remember those threads where people were saying that once that it touched $4000 it was going to explode and go down to $100 again, lol.

Aside from this new ATH, it is also interesting to note that BTC is gradually pushing back the alts and is about to reach a market dominance of 60%. Events like the crackdown on crypto in China and the HF on october the 25th were unable to stop BTC on its way upwards. This leads me to believe that Bitcoin will hold its status as the dominant form of crypto for at least a couple of more years.

It has been increasing so fast during the last week, i remember when it was like 5k just a week ago, and now it is above 6400, this is insane, i believe in that bitcoin will be more than 7k when the fork is done, i am sure of that.
just look at the charts, bitcoin increased by more than a thousand dollars when bitcoin gold was announced, the same is probably going to happen with this new fork, and i am sure of that.
just lets wait and see how it goes during the next days, i hope to see it over 7k before november 15th.

Nah, $6316.85 was already hit few weeks ago. New all-time high is $6420 mate. Even it is expected, still when I'm seeing the price can't believe we are this far and keeps on getting farther. Can't really wait how high would be the price on holiday season.

Yes mate, I can't really believed that we can go this far and we are still in 2017. Started this year with less than $1000 now its more than $6000, what can you still ask for bitcoin?

I'm also glad that I really go back into my bitcoin activity like trading, otherwise I will still looking ways to find extra money in online world. And so bitcoin is really a life saver and a blessing and we are still in its infancy stage. Maybe in 2-3 years, the price can also be doubled or tripled, making some of us millionaires then. So just keep on buying and holding on our bitcoins.  :)

Bitcoin's current price is sitting at a new all time high of $6418 according to coinmarketcap and it probably will continue to rise now that the useless forks are done. IMO the next upcoming fork which is B2X helps in boosting the current price of btc. Many people started hoarding bitcoin again for the purpose of getting free money again on the upcoming fork of bitcoin segwit2X, for this reason I think this rally might not last long.

Another all-time high happened a few hours ago and bitcoin bullrun resumes. If this bullishness of the bitcoin continues,the prediction of some bitcoin analysts will come true. In bitcoin's nine years of existence, 2017 seems to be the best year for the leading cryptocurrency and defied some expectations. This year's market capitalization for the bitcoin is already climbed to $100 billion and and still rising.

It is indeed crazy but we are seeing some resistance on the $6500 level.

We could be going down to $5000 or so before climbing back up again. A correction is going to come soon in my opinion and once it does come, just don't be surprised by it. Every single pump will be followed by a correction.

We'll be setting more all time highs for sure this year.

Yes, strange things happen with the Bitcoin price because I was never expected sudden growth with the price. But still, there is a chance that the price Bitcoin will increase in holiday season also because more people now understanding the real growth in Blockchain technology.

Maybe people are expecting there will be only one strong chain left after the fork, so they are more confident.

I posted in numerous threads I predicted 6-7K by BTG fork.  I think breaking 7K is VERY likely before the next fork.  Two weeks to go.  Personally I predict 7000-7500 by Mid November.  God knows how much by end of year.  Possibly 8-9K.  Too many new people adopting BTC. Countries are running to it.  Lots of new money wants it as an investment.  30K new Coinbase users per day and growing more everyday.  No one is stopping this freight train.  I doubt BTC will ever drop below 5500 again.

Yeah its very surprisng what bitcoin value has surpass in jusy a few months ago from $2700 now $6400 and still appreciating no wonder why at this time many investors are still choosing bitcoin and continue buying bitcoin because they all believe that bitcoin will be more higher than it has today and can possibly reach $10000 soon

We're rigth now sitting on a new all time high, personalyl i think that a dip will come soon. But after the dip we should see some more growth in bitcoin market cap, we've already estalished $5000 as a firm floor i would say.

We'll see plenty of new all time highs in the next 12 months in my opinion.

I think the price was increased because of the fork and i think  the price will stay at this price until november 16
But after we will see huge price dump after the november fork..
This is a new level of the price of bitcoin that hits $6400+ and i think  before end of this year we will see the price hit $7k value..

It looks like crazy for you because you do not know the real potential of bitcoins. If you will be ready to spend some time on finding why bitcoin is having value around $6500 and where it is heading then you will come to know that it is just a start as bitcoin is just 8 years old and it will be going to stay with us for centuries.

This all time high will keep on braking as many veterans are believing prices to touch the magical number $10,000 in next 2 months of time. Yes, we can welcome the year 2018 as a gentle rich bitcoiner.

In Yobit exchange still the high price of bitcoin is $6352.58226446 only, so still it has to hit the 6400 range. and the expected price of this rally is $6950+ after that their will be some profit booking.

It was expected that bitcoin can reach or hit the high price and  is currently climbing. However, we can't expect that this bitcoin's price always rising as long as there is a hardfork and economic lose.

Seems like we're still moving up and nearly breaking the $6500 mark. Once it breaks that mark i think that anything is possible, perhaps even breaking $7000 and then going up for the $7500. Once one barrier is broken it sort of triggers a domino effect.

Hopefully this is sustainable though, i'd rather see price level out from this point than puming all the way up and all the way down again.

It's never good for bitcoin's image when the price swings downwards wildly in an event of a correction.

Please understand that bitcoin's price differ per exchange and that is because every exchange has a different supply and demand so don't expect that the price will be the same on every exchange as there is no actual price or global rate of bitcoin so some exchange might have reached this x price but other exchange may not.

Its kinda pointless to argue about ops statement on all time high price of bitcoin which is $6300 when 1). bitcoin is pumping so its much volatile than usual 2). You guys are using different trading platforms for price reference 3). And checking its price at different times

Right now the price has crossed $6500, looking the price growth seems that $7000 is not a big deal. It can be reached anytime soon with the same level of price increase. The month November has begun with a good bench mark in price standing above $6500. The month seems to be one among the best for the bitcoin users.

It's above 6500, Fib showing the possibility of 7800 to be crossed before the fork.
Let's get ready for some real action-packed manipulation of the markets for the coming weeks and I feel this would be the best time to sell Bitcoins just before the fork and buy-back the dips. Still, there seems the lowest probability of BTC being dumped because no-one's in favor of Segwit2X so according to my thinking, this shouldn't be taken so seriously, at least the way we took BCH.

Yeah correct it's different today compared to the last fork a few months ago, it's more likely that people will not dumped bitcoin. I also believed that bitcoin will reached $7000+ before the year end.

correct thanks to those unending forks bitcoin price was rising up insanely  and on top of that we are having our free money ! too bad to those who already sold their bitcoins I suspect it will continue to rise by the end of this year !

It’s crazier that it is now @6600$ and how it goes up at this faster phase than before is something more interesting. This will not stop until the fork, so we can expect more increases this coming days or week as November 16th is the Segwit2x fork. I don’t know how to react on this rapid increases and can’t even keep up on bitcoin myself.

Bitcoin price for now is maybe crazy but I think it is normal for it to go high because the people who is so gullible in the FUDs before are immune now and don't care to what well known bankers are saying against Bitcoin so instead of affecting the price of it to go down they are now in full trust to it and the Split of Hard Fork is not now that big thing as it is a normal event when there is an upgrade in the scaling of Bitcoin so the increase of price of Bitcoin is the sign of many investors are getting a huge amount of trust and seeing a potential on their money.

It has already crossed the 6600$ and it looks like it's heading towards 7000$. This might happen but we all know how the price pump could be tricky so this rise might stop and right before the next fork the price could be corrected and maybe pulled down back to 5500$ or even less. Anyway, this is the good moment for traders so go on and take the money.

And we have finally broken the 7k level after which the new ATH is above 7150. It's an overwhelming experience to see Bitcoin ride the markets so hard by making new records every day. Altcoins are hit badly due to this and they are all getting bald and some nonsensical dumps are being seen which are setting new lower levels of altcoins too, so trading has gone very risky over these alts and I believe we should stay in Bitcoins unless it stops the rally.
