Title: My first week into the bit-coin experience lol.
Post by: burnout88 on June 14, 2013, 06:35:32 AM
Well I am new to Bitcoins, just got my wallet a few days ago, and so far it has been pretty exciting making the coins, even though it is every little.  But I will share my experience with the other newbies here.  So again I just started my wallet a few days ago, so I had nothing and didn't really have the money to be buying some coin I do not know much about.  I started reading the forums to find ways of making coins.  There are many free sites that offer coins, but some I think are just a waste of time for the very little they give. After going through so many I found that these ones were the best (I could easily be wrong, I'm just not to big on have a million bookmarks to sites)
http://earnfreebitcoins.com - Pays for visiting sites (payout is slow, you have to build up so much and takes awhile)
http://www.bitvisitor.com   - Pays for visiting sites (payout is fast, and does not take long to build up, you should get one payment a day but small)
http://coinvisitor.com        -  Pays for visiting sites (payout on request, no limit)
http://www.bitcoin4you.net  -Pays for visiting sites (payout is slow, you have to build up so much and takes awhile)

http://www.bitcoinget.com/  - Pays for tasks, and watching videos (Pays daily, no limit)
http://coinworker.com/       - Pays for tasks (Have to build up points before payout, depending on task may take awhile)

http://coinreaper.com/  - Multiple Faucet (One of my favourite because it will bring you directly to 18 different faucets with one click, faucets range for every 30 minutes to 24 hours, the 30 minute faucets all pool
bitcoins together and pays daily, 1 hour to 24 hour faucet payments vary from daily to having to build up for few days before payment)
http://www.bitcoins4.me/  - Hourly Faucet (Point must be built up before payment request)
http://www.redcoins.co/index.php - Hourly Faucet (Point must be built up before payment, payments made weekly)
http://www.srbitcoin.com/index.php - 30 minute Faucet (Payment will add on to the payment pool from the website Coin Reaper I listed earlier and paid daily)
http://www.rawbitcoins.com/index.php - 30 minute Faucet (Payment will add on to the payment pool from the website Coin Reaper I listed earlier and paid daily)

That is all I use, I will start with opening enough windows to do all the Faucets, leaving the coin reaper on open after completing all faucets because of the helpful timer they give tell you when the next faucet is available.  Then I open all the visiting website ones, because some of the sites must be visited for 5 minutes so you might as well do them all at once to make it go by faster.  Then I check for videos to watch at bitcoinget.  Once that is complete I check both the task sites for the highest paying tasks.  I got lucky and there was a task on coin worker that paid 10 points per task, and I finished it over 100 times.

So from starting with 0 bit coins a few days ago, I did all the free things I could, and got lucky with the high paying task on coin worker, I was able to get my balance to $0.14, and I made 0.11 of that in one day just doing that task.  I was pretty happy with that, then I decided to bet on some sports, as I am a gambling man lol.  I searched around for website to bet bitcoins on sports and I came across this one.

http://www.bitcoinsports.eu/

This site requires no registration, and is fairly easy to use.  So I tried to find a good value bet, and ended up choosing a baseball game, Toronto vs Texas, and I bet 0.04 on Toronto to win at a payout of +197.  And sure enough Toronto won, paying me 0.12028500, making my new balance 0.22.  I think that is not to bad considering it has only been 3 days I think.

So now again I will make another baseball bet for tomorrow, I am picking the New York Yankees to beat Los Angles Angles, which pays +124 and this time I am betting 0.08 to win a total of 0.1792 if I am correct, so wish me luck.  So after making that bet my balance was back to 0.14, and I went over to this website

http://satoshidice.com/

This is a website where you send bitcoins and bet on how high or low a number will be, with the lower the number the higher the payout.  I made about 5 bets and I was able to win 4 of them, but most of them paid not to much because I choose such a high number.  So I made a 0.03 bet on a number with a little better payout but not much better, and got lucky.  Now my balance is 0.18163992 BTC, and if the Yankees can win it for me tomorrow I will have a total of 0.036083992 plus whatever other freebies I earn by then.  Which would be a good little start into the bitcoin world for a newbie.

Well that is my experience so far, good luck to all the other newbies, if you got any good stories share them.  Oh ya and I know nothing about mining, have not got into it that far yet.

if you like coinworker, you might also try bitcoinget.com its pretty much the same thing, but with videos and special offers.. which by the way don't do the special offers. they look like scams to me for the most part.

I do use it, was it my earlier list.  I never do special offers on any site, they either look like a scam, involve me paying money or both.  I'm good with the videos and tasks.  Gonna try to make some smart sports bets, after the tomorrows baseball game, I will bet on Boston Bruins to beat Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night.

Blackhawks got lucky last game, their goal to tie the game in the third was a greasy fluke goal, and Boston had many chances in overtime just couldn't connect.  Should be another close game and I won't bet on a favourite, dose not pay well unless you bet large, so I get more bang for my buck, and I would think the odds should be even but they give Blackhawks the advantage.

If you like betting, and free coin (which nobody turns down right?), then you should check out the hourly faucet at http://www.dailybitcoins.org (http://www.dailybitcoins.org).  You do have to build up the payout over time but it adds up fairly fast, and best of all - you can sometimes win free Peerbet credits (https://peerbet.org (https://peerbet.org)).  I like Peerbet because there is no house edge and no fees, and the bets are quite varied.  And no, I do not represent them, I'm just passing along a fun bit of info.  Enjoy!

At $100 per BTC, you have earned about $20 in three days.

I have found that trading BTCs on an exchange like MtGox and buying ASICMiner shares is more lucrative. Of course, you need some capital to get started. If not, your method sounds like a good way to "get your feet wet."

If you make a link to coinreaper you should really use the http://coinreaper.com/?ref=1YourBitcoinAddress link format.

It places your address as referral on the coinurl ads.
